yup
By being based
New Vegas needs either to be remastered or a sequel.
and destroying the non-believers
yeah, but Bethesda would probably fuck it up.
it already has a sequel, two of them in fact: Fallout 4 and Fallout 76
It isnt the game, its the developing branch that made it. Obsidian had the least amount of money and time out of all the fallout games developers, and it became renown as the best modern fallout game of them all. Too bad tommy boi isnt about making a good game, hes about making a quick dollar
House and Caesar's Legion are the only two valid endings. House recognizes that humans need to get off their irradiated shithole ASAP and Caesar recognizes the hard truth that brutality may be required in brutal times.
Those aren't sequels, they're merely games that take place at some point in the timeline. Fallout 1 and 2 were the only sequel-prequel games in the entire series, as their events directly correlated with one another.
Mr house was well spoken. Not a brazen retard. What a gay meme.
Yes man ending is the most validated and redpilled. Rather than do all the work and allow someone else to take the credit and the power, you do for yourself and keep for yourself.
House was a shitty leader - he never cleaned up Vegas OR Freeside with all of the dirt and litter everywhere, even with an army of securitrons that could have cleaned things up.
Plus he could have used The Kings as a de-facto police force in Freeside, and helped clean up the debris there as well.
It was the best choice offered.
>join
>DIE!
>join
>DIE!
Why yes I chose MR House how did you know?
House is a shitty character all around. Very undeveloped story. One of the weakest points of the whole game.
>Best Primary
Medicine Stick
>Best Secondary
Lucky, though a 12 gauge for pulse & dragon's breath slugs is kino
>Best Melee
Chance's Knife but it feels disrespectful to dig it up, Broad Machete otherwise
>Best Faction
Enclave
Boomers
>Best Companion
Rose of Sharon Cassidy
>Best Song
Jingle Jangle Jingle
>Best Quest
For Auld Lang Syne
>Best Settlement
Nellis Air Force Base or the Big MT
Kill house. He is beyond his time, he does literally nothing than verbal interaction.
Kill "Kaiser" if only because his title/name is fucking retarded. Also, brain tumour, destined to die anyways.
Kill NCR because its more of the same of you doing everything for someone else to reap the fruits of your labors
Yeah, hillary is the evil robot, not good goy trump, goodest goy of israel, champion of the military industrial complex
no, Cesar's Legion is the worst written part of the story - there's plenty of House backstory including stuff with his brother buried in terminal entries. But Cesar was cut because they ran out of time.
>I would have loved having Ulysses as a companion and to have been able to visit Legion controlled towns east of the river as planned
I think we all have come to terms with the simple fact that all politicians are retarded. I, for one, am almost convinced it is a requirement to be a sociopath to be a politician.
Great Khans are the most redpilled faction next to the Baby Boomers.
The whole corona debacle shows trump is ok with sacrificing his supporters to Moloch so big line goes up and his cronies dont lose their wealth.
The legion is fucking gay. They talk like a bunch of autistic larpers, and give you the LEAST amount of freedom of any of the joinable factions. The BOS would fucking WRECK the legion any day of the week.
I’m replaying it right now. Caesars Legion is based AF and the only correct choice for the Mojave
House, Legion, and the NCR are all equally shit because they're all too stuck in the past and too obsessed with recreating systems that lived and died in circumstances unrecognizable to the wasteland.
Yes man is the only option because ita the only one that looks forward to the future and takes full stock of what the people actually need and want.
All factions are comic book tier, except followers and BOS
He was on wrestling show before. I knew he was retarded forever and a day ago. They're all retarded, this whole countries administration is a fucking circus.
I can't believe how much they fucked up FO4 and its story. Am I the only one who would literally kill to be on a creative team to write the story of a Fallout game? I would put my own spin on it, for instance, Fallout having a 1950s culture has a few implications, it's before the 1965 immigration act, therefore until 2077 and post-war, America was majority white. The state of Israel doesn't exist. America is nationalistic. Obviously Fallout is a liberal game which criticises nationalism and capitalism for causing the destruction of the world, but this doesn't always have to be in the game, I would make it so that a corrupt ruling class of politicians, their greed and fanatical communism are the reason for the great war.
I also always wondered what happened to Rome, Jerusalem, Mecca etc. in the fallout timeline. My interpretation is that atheistic China and the Soviet Union nuked them to damage their religions. What would happen if Rome, Mecca and Jerusalem would be destroyed? Most people would probably abandon the Abrahamic religions. This would allow me to write new wasteland religions into the story, which I would make a theme of the game where the player can choose from a local religion and could even help in spreading it and giving it more political power.
The only good part of fnv is dead monies
about that...
I too am a fan of the followers, but they really get the shaft in FNV no matter what route you take.
Ave, True to Caesar.
>had fun with fallout1 back in the day
>even the demo was fun
>havent really enjoyed any 3d fallout
am I just an old boomer at this point? is this the endgame?
Nah you are just a typical swedecuck
I never played new vegas but now I'm pretty much free til August.. should I pirate that shit?
LOL one thing is still certain, BOS would wreck both of those factions. And all of the post-apocolyptic world can rest easy knowing Frank Horrigan was killed along with the rest of the enclave in the first fallout, because no remaining faction alive could hold a candle to them EXCEPT the BOS, who would have lost if it wasn't for you, the player stealing vtol plans from the enclave and bringing them back to BOS.
you would be welcomed at the forums at No Mutants Allowed.
Played Tactics and Brotherhood of Steel?
Brotherhood of steel are mega cucks. They are representative of say a Sweden, who is content t allow their group to just die off in complacency
Except BoS isolationist policies were killing the organization, especially after the blowback at the BoS when they nuked NCR's gold reserves.
Yes man!
The BOS is the only reason the entire planet isnt enslaved by the enclave actually. Theyre the only faction with the ability and know-how to do anything of significance.
While this always remains to be the case, even in NV when Mcnamara was the current chapter leader, when desperate times come, they know to look to an outsider to get the job done. its how they beat the enclave, how they survived new vegas, and how they annihilated those nerds in fallout 4. The BOS always wins.
so you are saying swedecucks have peak taste in games?
I guess this is just the effect of getting old and tired
no satan. really didnt dabble much in fallout after that but was excited when bethesda was making fo3 again. didnt even play 2 except installed it years later but didnt get into it much
2 had the best random encounters
Brotherhood are dead in the water though. The fact that the world has left them behind is one of the themes of FO2, being succeeded first by the Enclave then the NCR. Hence why they spent most of their time in the Mojave cowering in their bunker hoping not to be found.
Brotherhood of steel was literally dying in NV and despite their dire situation, they were content to stay hidden in their faggy bunker. Even when Hardin becomes elder there was no indication that they were ever going to permanently leave the bunker. Their future is the same as Sweden. Slowly dwindling down to nothing. A once proud people reduced to nothing.
No.
>mfw I played through TWICE with dozens of mods and over 400 hours of play time and sided with California Republic both times.
I’m betting your breath regularly smells like penis
games were more comfy back then, before high speed internets. when I got cracked games burned on cdrs
also were younger
>No.
Okay
LOL the world left them behind? They literally hoard technology and are the technological super-power of whats left of Earth. They werent succeeded by the enclave, the enclave was the remnant of the us government.
Mojave chapter is just trash that got separated from a larger chapter during a battle. They were content because they didnt have any comms, protocol dictated they remain fortified. That was the whole issue you had to resolve, mcnamara wanted to follow protocol, hardin didnt give a shit anymore.
No, I make your mom brush her teeth before I kiss her.
I played Fallout 4 recently and realised just how bad the beginning is. People would literally kill to write the story of that game, and yet Bethesda was incredibly lazy about it. I don't understand why they would create backstories for the characters, when they don't have enough time to actually create enough story to make people care about them, while at the same time extremely limiting player freedom. Why waste time on writing a vague backstory when the fans want you to not do so, why waste time when it's less work and the fans want you to do less work on them? Doesn't make any sense.
Starting in the pre-war world is actually a good idea though, as I'm sure most people want the game to explore and show the pre-war world more. My solution would be to start the game at the workplace of the player. In an office area where you occupation is left to your interpretation. You will be given the opportunity to choose an occupation, these would work as the traits in New Vegas, bonuses and setbacks to your skills, if you want to choose any. The game explores life at work at the beginning until at 3PM they receive an alert, the Great War has started. You have secured a place in the local vault and you make your way there. You enter the vault where they but you in cryosleep and due to malfunctions you wake up in the post war world.
Just brushing probably isnt enough, have you tried making her gargle chlorine trifluoride?
Fallout goes the same route of the elder scrolls series; each new game that comes out has less features and is more streamlined than the previous.
did you enjoy fallout 3? the main story might be weak but the exploration and some of the side quests are god tier
Pretty based ideas, desu
Did you know that the Brotherhood of Steel is not in Fallout 3?
same with movies etc. Storytelling and immersion replaced with spectacle/graphics. Entertainment products always become more shallow over time.
Because everything is already set in the fallout timeline and official lore; They have to find events that happened during these times to make a game out of. There's a list of every vault that vault-tec set-up and the actual research they were being used for. The vaults were mostly experiments. Not actually for the preservation of anyone.
>are the technological super-power of whats left of Earth
They aren't though, that's the point. Enclave had better tech and more effective organisation, and the NCR btfo them regardless and reverse-engineered most of their tech advantage away. Theoretically the Courier with the Big MT behind them is more advanced too.
If you want to talk East Coast then the Enclave still had a higher average tech level and the Institute blows them out the water.
The Brotherhood only succeeded thanks to having a monopoly on tech vs a world made up primarily of tribals and small villages - once people started to catch up they folded. They're a failed ideology that was never intended to be seen again past FO2 except in the sorts of heavily diminished forms you see in New Vegas.
