Within these threads, and any GOOD threads there has also been an uptick in MEMEFLAGS. Memeflags (any flag not of a country, used to hide an anons country out of shame or fear of being down played due to their flag status).

i have been here since the beginning. was on Yas Forums since 2003 and saw the birth of Yas Forums.
over the years Yas Forums has become a sort of arena or playground for different groups attempting to spread memes and propaganda. some of these groups are civilian, others are not. the biggest change i've witnessed over the years has been the onset of deep neuroticism within the board culture as a whole. what started as semi-serious accusations of JIDF membership has evolved into a full-blown paranoia about the affiliation and motivation of a given poster.
i have a hunch this was done purposely by glownigger actors to paralyze Yas Forums. anyone that lurked the /vsg/ cyclical threads could have seen the absolute disarray and lack of organized thought mainly due to posters going back and forth accusing each other of working for the FBI. not sure if there's a solution, however. the nature of the anonymous imageboard means a problem like that is either fixed through a sophisticated board culture that outsiders can't blend into, or a complete devolution into paranoid schizophrenia (which is what we are seeing).

it's hard to discern which of those types of threads are started by foreign agents and which are started by shitposters looking for (you)'s. again i posit that this is part of an intentional muddying of the waters that has been in progress for some years. trust not the user that claims he can tell the difference at this point. the greatest threat of Yas Forums is productive discussion and investigation, and my belief is that external groups have weaponized shitposting to hinder that, both inter-thread and intra-thread. you can see it even in this thread.
