US based Companies/Industries are extremely important and valuable now more than ever, especially the goods being produced by them and shipped around the country. Domestic US infrastructure and logistics in this crisis is critical. Having China be so much of the US Goods production is seriously hurting the US Government ability to stop Corona, save lives and keep the public calm.
Trucking Companies need to get as much government support as they can, the entire US trucking industry does. Not fucking cruise ships of all things. The amount of goods US Truckers are delivering every single day keeping this country up and the shelves full is staggering.
Also one benefit of everyone staying at home is that shipping by Truck should be quicker now because of less traffic on the roads.
The US Railroads, US Trucking and US air-cargo all need government support and backing right now. US Roads/highways connecting cities and supply chains need to be repaired and optimized by the US military too. Keeping the US shelves full should be treated as a military operation of vital national security and stability.
