There are just 2 options: A. test the whole country within 14 days, keep borders shut tight, isolate all infected or B. just return to normal, isolate risk groups, get to herd immunity within 3 weeks.
If you have no symptoms but kiss someone or have sex, you can spread the virus. Also, even healthy people sometimes sneeze.

Half of these Icelandic people show no symptoms, we already knew that there's a long asymptomatic incubation period. The question is whether these people are showing no symptoms through their entire infection or whether Iceland is simply testing lots of people still in the incubation period.

In a over-medicated society what if many of those who are hospitalized were on one of these drugs. Old people and those with other "conditions" are more likely to be on pain-relievers. The odd young person who gets hospitalized might be using these meds too.

They say it’s for the entire time of the infection.
They tested 4% of their population already and rising. They have extremely good data on how deadly the virus is, how it spreads, how many people have it, how mild or strong cases are.
By their numbers we can estimate Italy is over 3-5 million infected already.

Once we have fast and reliable testing that can be mass produced we can constantly test everyone and quarantine the infected.
Every time you breathe there are still droplets, a small fraction of the amount as when you cough etc. and a small fraction of those will contain enough virus to infect someone even if it does go into their mouth or eyes w/e (normally because they touch their face). But a small fraction of a small fraction is still non-zero.
