It means that it's bottled in a government bonded warehouse. It means that they didn't fuck with it and is under strict guidelines.

simple off the cuff I tell people is.
1) held in a government bonded warehouse (ie bottled in bond)
2) all the same batch, not mixed w/ different years
3)minimum 4yrs aged

It's a great seal of quality for a bourbon if you're looking for a good stock/well bourbon. If you wanna try it cheap I suggest Evan William's bottled in bond. You can get 1.75l for $30 and a 750ml for about $20.

Im not a bourbon fan either, but it's 100 proof / 50% for a relatively good price (I take a litre bottle for like 20 bucks) and compare to most burbons Wild Turkey is fine. tho Im a single malt and rum drinker myself,but thats a good buy you gotta admit it lads.

I love cask ctreing scotch and drink it neat, with just a few drops of cold water. I generally dislike gayish 40% whiskys, thats why I like glen garioch 12 and for example, the shit like pic related. whisky must be AT LEAST 46%.
