It had been about 3 years since I had done them last until I decided to get a bunch for all of the different events and vacation time I had planned around christmas last year. I started doing them about once every week or two, slowly upping the dose. It peaked with me and a cousin of mine dropping almost a 3/4 ounce each and hanging out in my appartment all night.

It was during this time I experienced the confidence I think you're talking about, not the violence though. It was a complete liberation from fear. An acceptance of who I am and what the world is. A mental awakening beyond what I had experienced from my earlier experimentation with mushrooms. The feeling of confidence that I was feeling in the moment faded slightly but not revelations I had about reality. I am hesitant to ever go that far with mushrooms again now though as I feel like that may be the capstone of my journey with them. I'd like to try something else.
