As Christians in this world we are simply passing through. In the scope of eternity this life is momentarily. 70-80 years? But what you choose in that 70 to 80 years decides your fate in the afterlife. The system is so evil and corrupt at this point, moreso than it ever has been, that it stinks to high Heaven and offends God's nostrils. There's no way to "game" our way out of this except to DO THE RIGHT THING, and BE BETTER PEOPLE by cleaving to the Truth, by choosing to Love those who we think are least Lovable, and least able to protect themselves. But don't misunderstand me to think I'm trying to say God inflicted this on us (although that is possible, and I haven't ruled it out). I don't think God inflicted this clearly satanic virus upon us, but here's what I DO think: there are many unseen enemies of Christendom everywhere, lurking around every corner, from which we enjoy continual supernatural immunity simply by being in the presence of the Holy Spirit of God... in Jesus. And The Holy Spirit of God revealed himself in Jesus as the Spirit of Truth. (1 John 5:6)

So when the majority of Christianity's public face rejects the Truth and cleaves to a lie (or a pathological liar as authority), we grieve the Spirit of Truth because there is no lie in Him, ever. And when massive numbers of Christians do this, it's possible to have the grave consequence of inviting dangers to which we were previously immune, to now try to hurt us, not because God moved, but because we did. Remember when mom or dad annoyed us constantly as young people to wear our seat belts? Well if we fail to wear our seat belt and end up in a car crash, is it because Mom doesn't love you? No. It is because Mom wanted to curse you or punish you for not listening to her? No! It's because we ignored Mom when we KNEW she was right, and in that way opened the door for a horrible outcome to what could have been nothing, had we been wise. Unfortunately there is an ancient spiritual principle that the land and the king are one, and Donald J. Trump, our fearless leader, is NOT WISE. He's a compulsive liar, and most of Christendom enables and defends him like a paragon of virtue, when a casual read of his biography shows that he is nothing more than "Eddie Barzoun" personified, the prime example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect. And the vocal public face of Christianity (which I believe represents the majority) has chosen to make an idol of him, above commitment to Truth, above the Living God of Truth. And we have no one to blame for that, and the consequences of that, but ourselves, for either doing it, or for suffering it to be done without standing up for the Truth and saying "Jesus IS NOT like this...": youtube.com
