The mortality rate for the common flu is not 0.1%. If you use the same math that the WHO pushed for the Covid-19, which is number of deaths/number of confirmed cases, you'll get the 3.4-4% rate you've heard. Applying the same math to the seasonal flu of this season, you'll get a death rate around 10%. Simply use number of confirmed deaths/number of confirmed cases. The 0.1% rate you use actually factors in ESTIMATED cases, which is about 36 million people. According to a study published this week in the journal Science, 6 out of 7 folks who have Covid-19 are asymptomatic. So the death rate in actuality for the Corona Virus is somewhere around 0.2%. If you actually question the "facts" you hear on mainstream news, you'll decipher that the 4% vs. 0.1% comparison is actually incomparable, because it's two completely different figures. Apples and oranges, my friend.
