I pay $220 a month for my mustang and it’s about to be paid off in a few more payments. Then I’ll probably go and get a Jeep lol. It’s so easy to make car payments, and once it’s paid off you can keep it, or sell it and get something new.

I trusted all the adults in my life that recommended "Just stay the course at your current job, eventually you'll get a raise" "You should finish out that degree, I didn't and I'm doing fine but you should". All that got me was a good amount of savings with nowhere near enough weekly income to afford more than a 110k mortgage, so I quit that place will graduate this summer. Plan to work two/three jobs till the end of the year, saving as much as possible to purchase a duplex to get started down the landlord path.

This is an illegal eviction as long as eviction courts are frozen and tenants are able to either call the police or, even in some states, shoot them because castle doctrine applies here.

I rent out a room of my house and the tenant works for the hotel industry. I don't even need the money. If they lose their job i'm just not going to ask for rent. When this whole thing ends though, I'm going to ask for the full amount in back pay and sue the shit out of them if they don't pay up.
