Discords intensified between Southerners and Mansoor Hadi’s forces: – Recently Southerners and Mansoor Hadi’s forces engagements increased in south fronts and according to Mansoor Hadi’s officials the zero hour of operation to control Aden is approaching. It looks like Hadi forces have gone ahead with reactivating the Hudaydah front; and those engagements in Crater led to the seizure of the district. Looks like Hadi will be fighting at his front and rear at the same time.
I'm extremely certain it's already there. At least, among South Africans in Europe. It just might not grow as delicious; but couldn't a greenhouse fit that too? I am now legitimately curious about khat in Europe. Where is their growing fields?

GNA is so incompetent it's hilarious. It's almost like they are doing even worse now that Erdokalb joined in on the fun.
Somalia makes a lot of sense; Somalians even go to Yemen and trade with them for their qat, as Yemeni qat is supposed to be the most delicious in the world. And then, of course, Somalia is where some Yemeni refugees go to dab out of the Romance of Three Kingdoms on the mainland. I know they even have qat on Socotra but I don't think they grow it there; they're close enough to the Somali coast to be visited by some exporter.
Supposedly the US and UAE worked together to plan the invasion of a dummy city, I wonder if that's modeled after anything coming up

Banning plants never makes sense to me, but many things governments do doesn't make sense to me. They don't want people to achieve Houthi power, but khat does not hold the Houthi deen inside of it; that's just Zaydi Shi'ism. Khat just enhances it.
>I'm extremely certain it's already there. I've already seen it here Once tried to obtain some from an ethiopian dude but i didnt follow up on it

Coronavirus Hits Somalia’s Khat Sellers
Not only Somali traders and consumers but also growers of khat in Kenya, where it is called “miraa” and nicknamed “green gold,” are feeling the economic effects of the coronavirus.
Normally, more than 15 cargo flights of khat arrive in Mogadishu and other major cities in the country every day from Kenya. Somali anti-khat activist Abukar Awale said the crop is worth $840 million a year.
“In research we have done only on the khat that is air transported into Somalia, at its peak, we have recorded 35 cargo flights, carrying about 95,000 bags of khat a day, which have a total retail value of $400,000,” Awale said.

If khat is in Oman, it would not surprise me if Omanis were the one to spread it so thoroughly in Africa. Even Kenya speaks Swahili, the Omani African language. The Omani Empire was vast

>The Royal Oman Police said the sultanate has seen a dramatic rise in qat smuggling this year from war-torn Yemen, warranting the reminder of the severe consequences. Kek, so the Omani Mahra Project in Yemen is not only anti-Saudi, it's anti-qat. Even the Arab Coalition doesn't mess with the qat. Mahra independence folk thus far are just at STC-in-Aden tier of oppressed by Saudi government, but unlike STC, they are not a part of that govt. I think Saudis actually went the Qatif route and jailed their an elder, threatening execution.
Mahra would seal the Omani border, so no land route from Yemen. There's still the entire coast, but I'm sure with the war that's not as easy as it used to be.
