Coronavirus has really proved how fragile modern business is. Few weeks of uncertainty and less spending, and companies are crumbling on their knees.

This

You know this awesome pay porn site called Property Sex?

they can pay me in ass.

a fellow man of culture

I work for a corporation with 1200 locations, we rent 99% of them. Almost all retailors do. Plus their problem is cash flow as under normal circumstances keeping more than a few months of cash on hand is a financial drain.

I lold

They are a house of cards as every CEO is extracting so much profit that they can barely keep the lights on.
When a person runs their affairs like that they are said to be irresponsible but a business expects to get handouts to cover their stupidity.

Obviously I tell them to take their time.

They’ll get a corporate bailout

They should have had savings

They’ll have to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, firm handshake

Heh

He is such a happy guy

get nice titted blonde bitch from geekfag TVshow to rub tits in my face

>rent forgiven

Guess they will just have to sell off some assets the same as the idiot who has to pawn his tv to make rent.
Maybe shrink to a more manageable size

Anyone who thinks leftists have their best interests at heart are fucking stupid, demonstrated by Pelosi’s disingenuous relief package where the US is required to give up its sovereignty whilst at the same time implementing the degenerate social policies of the left, in fact, this has been the plan all along. Firstly they intentionally provided false advice to Western Govts in relation to the severity of the virus facilitated by their puppet at the WHO, the Ethiopian Communist Tedros. Secondly, once their activists in the media downplayed the virus and they were satisfied the virus had spread sufficiently throughout the Western world, the narrative changed to a more alarmist one with the activists in the Civil Service intentionally providing conflicting advice to dis-credit the Govt. Now we’re in a situation where the leftists are advising Govt’s to indefinitely shut down their societies so as to accelerate the collapse of the economy in the hope people will flock to a Communist revolution, they’ve used this crisis masterfully.

>ceo making 500k a year somehow is the reason why a billion dollar business fails

Businesses do not keep cash around because they are constantly reinvesting, the finances of an individual household are different than that of a business.

That's like three slices.

call up my friends at the local media and tell them to run a story about cheesecake factory connected to coronavirus

lmfao landlords... I've built my own house on my own land and I'm my own landlord.

Very nice

do they only sell cheesecake or whatever is a "cheesecake factory"?

i cant wait till all their videos are bank agents doing foreclosures

>implying salary is the only way to extract money from a company
If a months interruptions is enough to bankrupt a company it should have been run better

hahah le epic joke about a serious subject in a time of crisis

why not make bank porn a thing
>thot: I need cash
>clerk: *unzips*

If you enjoy cheesecake factory you are fucking disgusting. Microwave trash food.

Management paid a dividend to their shareholders on March 6:
>nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/cake/dividend-history
That could have been the rent due April 1.
Landlords must be seething.

fucking kek

They have the upper hand. What are the landlords gonna do, kick them out? Nobody is going to take the building in the coming months with this economy coming up.

When 10 people can't pay their rent, it is the renter's problem.

When everyone can't pay their rent, it is the landlord's problem.

Literally all companies are run like this because they are constantly reinvesting their profits to open new locations and hire new workers and buy more equipment and pay shareholders, I'm not sure why you think a company would ever be run like a family household.

For those interested if you calculate out how much money they payed out it was
16.1856 million US$
I think that could have gone a long way to helping keep the lights on.
Or maybe instead of renting if they expanded more slowly and purchased locations they would be more sustainable

This.
If management has found a way to pressure landlords into deferring rent and preserve the dividend (), then they absolutely should, as that's in the best interest of their shareholders, and shareholder value maximization is their job.

This.

>pay shareholders
yes call companies are designed in such a way to maximize share holder profits regardless of any other factor.
Maybe an entire civilization should not be built around such a crazy psychopathic goal
