I did, been quite useful. It's near impossible to get food deliveries and when they do come half is missing. I also prepped a months worth of booked slots ahead so im covered but even then half arrives.

So I've been using the ~ 2 months of food i had bought ahead of time to supplement it.

Dried beef in a can (actually a glass jar) is OK, too, but it's super salty so you need to either soak it in water or cook it with something bland before you eat it. SPAM is good enough, I guess, especially if sliced thin and fried. As far as canned protein is concerned, beans are good bet, gets some fiber in you, too.

One thing you don't need to worry about as far as canned meat goes is pathogens. As long as the can is intact and not super old, the stuff inside will be edible. That stuff is cooked, spiced, preserved and retorted to the max. It might taste like shit, but you can survive on it. Biggest problem is it's heavy.
