Corona symptoms thread

So how many of you puffs have Coronavirus and what are your symptms?
I've not been tested but via phone consultation my Doc tells me that my family and I have it.
Here's the run down:

Week one:
Day 1 - 4: A tightening feeling in my chest which gradually worsens.
Day 5: Mrs now has a continuous cough
Day 6: Both of us have foggy heads. Mrs reports having tight chest also. "Oh shit, do we have corona?"
Day 6: Mrs is bed ridden with cough, lethargy
Day 7: My foggy head persists but the chest sensations are gone. Mrs struggles to get on with daily tasks while i'm at work

Week Two:
Day 1: We're in isolation. Mrs is still very sick, coughing, zero energy.
Day 2: Feeling awful. Chest and throat are gritty, shortness of breath sets in, occasionally shaky hands.
Day 3: Breathlessness intensifies. For me it feels like trying to inflate a bag with a hole in it. For Mrs her chest is so tight she feels she can't get air.
Day 4: I feel fine / no symptoms. Mrs is also doing better until early afternoon where she crashes again.
Day 5: Feeling a bit ropey but not too bad. Mrs is also doing better, still has cough
Day 6: Both doing better with occasional dips
Day 7: Again doing better. A bit ropey in the afternoon but it subsides. Daughter comes down with cough and fever, convulsions at 2am. Call the Doc who confirms suspected Corona - Doc tells me Corona symptoms vary wildly. Must isolate for further 7 days.

Week 3
Day 1: Daughter is now fine but with a cough. I am fine. Mrs is great, still a cough but has her energy back
Day 2: I am fine. Fucking beat it!!
Day 3: I am hit with the second wind. Muscle aches, lost my voice, coughing up shit as if my chest is trying to clear something. I need to go to bed
Day 4 (present): Feel like shit again, throat is sore, coughing up chunks, muscle aches, no energy. Sick of my life.

So, what has your experience been like user?

Coughing, Fever, burning and tightness in the chest, mouth feels dry even when it is not, diarrhea.

It was bad in the first week, then became better, now after 2 weeks I feel mostly fine again.

It is really like flu with a bit different symptoms.

God Bless you and yours. Take Vitamin C as much and as often as you can tolerate! Liposomal C if you can get it. Also magnesium, zinc, and as many other vitamins as you can possibly handle. So what if I'm wrong user? Worst case you get the runs, best case it helps you.

Any anons aware of the coming collapse? Post monopoly money for extra toilet paper

I was coughing up black mucus for like 2 weeks and had a high fever for like 4 days, then low fever for like 5 days, but I just drank some beers and took advil and cough meds and Im still here.
I think people are just pussies desu senpai.
This was back in January btw.

How do you think that you caught it? Can you remember a dangerous encounter?

Mrs reckons it either came through her workplace as she works a very popular and busy cafe - lots of tourists,

Or, our daughter picked it up at nursery, showed no symptoms until later but passed it on to us,

I thought I could of had it last week but it was so mild I don't know I just hope I got lucky and had little symptoms

Day 1-5 I had the shits not just loose shit but having to go alot too
Day 5-8 legs felt heavy and were hard to move could still walk tho also I felt like I had a fever but temp was below 37.5c chest and back were hot also had aches and pains and for a short time, it hurt when I breathed but that didn't last long
sometime after the 8th day I had gotten a temp higher then 37.9c but again this didn't last long not even 1 hour but like I said I felt like I'd had one for longer so maybe I have a shit thermometer I also get a sore throat that didn't last more then 3 hours never had that happen and I got a cough that again didn't last more then half a day.

I've paid £250 for a test like a retard because if I have had it and beat it I'd like to know so I can stop worrying but chance's are I had a fucking cold and if a cold or whatever can make me feel like I did one dose of kung flu will kill me in a fucking day

Nah I don't think people are being pussies. It affects everyone differently.
A healthy 21 year old died of it.
My friend is a nurse and says healthy 20 year olds are coming in and needing to be put on ventilators,
It's a bit of a lottery and it sounds like you came off lightly.

I'm so sorry user. I have a dynamic IP so it may be a different ID when I post this but please heed my advice about Vitamin C. Even if I'm wrong user worst case is that you get the runs for 16 hours. The only vitamins that you can overdose on are the fat soluble ones - A, E, D, and K. I mean you could OD on others but you would need such a Herculean dose it's extremely unlikely

did you or the misses get a temp?

just got it yesterday :/

I gotta case of the 'Ronas

you been tested ? or just feel like shit ?

Talk to me user. How do you think you caught it? Did you use PPE?

I had no temp or cough until yesterday (week 3), My temp is minor and comes and goes.
It seems fever and cough aren't 100% sure signs of having it - remember, some people show zero symptoms.

Had it in January. About 2-3 weeks. Woke up with so much phlegm it almost choked me. No shakes tho. Went walking for an hour everyday and it passed. 36 yrs old

Yeah i know about the zero symptoms thats why I'm hoping my mild symptoms were it

Had a burning sensation and a little pain in my chest for a week. Felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Burning sensation went away first, then pain stopped a couple days later. Had no appetite for a couple of those days. Never had a cough, fever, or any other symptom. I feel great again. Wife only had a cough and showing no symptoms either. I think we both caught it and beat it or I’m having symptoms of a heart attack. Either way, I feel fine again and will probably not leave my house till this shit is gone.

I don’t know if I’m being a hypochondriac, but I have noticed my mouth feeling a little dry over the last few days in addition to fogginess (which goes away after eating something). I haven’t left my house in 2 weeks, zero coughing or chest tightness. Anyone else?

I will keep that in mind. Thank you

Week of dry throat and coughing
Throat is now moist, and have more of a wheezy cough

Felt dazed and tired
Bit of diarrhoea
Feel some pressure in my head and eyes

Have always been able to take full deep breaths and no pressure on chest

When I woke up this morning I thought I had dry cough but it went away in 10 minutes. My temperature was 96.9°F. Full blown panic attack though because I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I gave it to my family. I use PPE and have only went to the grocery store once and that's all I left my house in almost 3 weeks. I am probably being a hypochondriac

I mean, I was honestly struggling to take full breaths, not in "muh pain wanhh" like faggots cry about for gibs, but literally like my lungs werent processing the oxygen right, like an asthma attack almost but not as severe. Probably cause they were full of blood and shit, thats what the black in the mucus was.
I just forced myself to take full breaths, and even though I would cough a bunch of shit up and be breathing hard, I didnt feel any need to throw an autistic screeching fit over it.
Probably would now if I had similar symptoms again though kek.
>muh corona oh noooo

I’ve had a scratchy throat for like five days now. trouble breathing in, feel all congested but no mucous. dry cough maybe once every two hours. no fever yet

t. nyc

drink many hot drinks to kill the virus in your throat

I've been having moderate difficulty breathing and a pain / soreness in my right lung for a few days now

yeah I’ve been drinking hot tea and soup

it gives me some temporary relief but I returns within half an hour. felt very stuffed up yesterday and I took a Tylenol severe flu and felt much better after waking up.

it sucks it just feels like there is a ball sitting right at the center of my throat. along with a feeling of sinus congestion but mucous. it’s honestly really unsettling. and the cough I have is super dry I swear I don’t think I’ve ever actually coughed like this in my life. good thing it only happens maybe every too hours

good luck
be ready to go to the hospital if you start to struggle to breath

Get lots of vitamin C(tablets), drink hot drinks, breath in steam in shower

That's what I said about the lung problems I experienced - it was like trying to inflate a bag which had a hole in. The air seemed to almost pass through and was not absorbed into my system. I had no pain.

Could have just been anxiety I have had the same feeling thinking i'm having a heart attack, I had chemotherapy for cancer when I was 11 2001, and I thought for sure my heart was giving in but I had all the test and it was fine i even had pian in the left side of my face and arm.

I think i caught it in November
Mostly symptoms like the common cold+fever+cough
Never been that sick in my life ever and when i get sick, i'm usually feeling somewhat better after the second day.
The worst lasted 2 days, but i was feeling sick for maybe 4 or 5 days.
Now my nose has been slightly irritated for a few weeks now, but those might be my allergies acting up.

somebody is gonna be in that 0.2% if that rate is the real number she was just one unlucky son of a bitch

My wife lost all taste all week bad with no other symptoms. She said she could sort of taste the soup we ate tonight. Who knows.

It's okay user just go to sleep.

I might have very mild symptoms I duno. This last week I've been waking up in the morning with a sore throat but then it quickly goes away when I'm up. I read its common to feel a virus first thing in the morning because your immune system works harder while you sleep.

I don't have symptoms and hopefully don't have the virus either, but I shared a vehicle with a couple of tourists last Sunday, so if they had it and didn't self-isolate because they didn't know they had it then I might now have it and not know I've got it. Hopefully not though, it sounds pretty shithouse.

Be in denial about how bad it can be. I know you're scared. Just wait until she catches up with you.

>tfw woke up with a sore throat

I feel like I am an asymptomatic case, slight headaches and occasional sore throat but nothing else for almost two weeks

i said if the its the real number

Had that too, but was in close contact with 69 y/o mother throughout who didn't seem to catch it.

self isolation is a dumb idea
even if you recover, your lungs will be cheese, filled with holes of damage

best plan is treatment with HCQ+Zithro as soon as you get initial symptoms

>30.8% of all positive COVID-19 patients are asymptomatic and will probably never develop symptoms.
You guys are working with old info...

Were you coughing black mucus up?
It felt like breathing to a straw, is a good analogy I think. Had chills as well during the high fever days.
Pretty sure I needed to go to hospital, but it was before I even looked into the whole covid thing. Was early January, maybe late late December at the latest.
Im honestly a pretty tough dude though so if someone else had it theyd be in the hospital asap at our current point in time.

> visit CDC pandemic web page
38 million cases
28,000 dead
149 pediatric deaths
Pneumonia death rate 7.1%

> holy shit
> wait, this is the regular flu web page
> read on
“Although lab confirmed influenza cases are decreasing, hospitalizations are increasing. Public concerns about covid-19 may be driving the increases in health care visits and consumption.”

> Dawns on me.
Media hype is driving hysterical patients to seek hospitalization for what would normally have just been slept off at home. The Wuhan Flu is a nothingburger that the media manufactured has into a happening.

You are very lucky that you could cough that shit up, not everyone can and then they drown on their own fluids

Same here but without coughing and dry throat

Do you or your wife had any fever?

Like a really weak cold, but my sinuses and upper chest/lungs hurt off and on. It comes and goes, did not ever feel horrible, maybe 3 weeks. Almost done with it, I think.

so what did the doctor say about symptoms and hospital treatment? sorry but i feel like this is a larp because it's supposed to fuck your lungs permanently.

also, how did you manage your daughters convulsions? do you have valium or other seizure drugs?

Did keep track but it was a sore throat, an allergic reaction, itchy nose, swollen eyelids, occasional cough, tiredness, body aches and a fever that wenet away rapidly. Pretty sure I caught. i ordered cinchoa bark and vitamins just in case.

tylenol, or paracetol in your faggot country or whatever. your LUNGS cannot feel pain. there aren't nerve endings in your lungs. the pleuritic lining can become inflamed just from bad posture. take tylenol. i have dealt with pleurisy my entire life and been to many doctors, it just happens to some people. once a year or so it feels like a knife is being inserted into my lung, its just inflamation of the lining between the rib and lungs. you'll never feel pain 'in your lungs' just for the record.

I haven't really felt any symptoms but I do feel like I have to spit up a lot, but this has been going on for a while and probably has more to do with smoking. Other than that I've felt pretty good.

I've had a sore throat and mild cough, and it seems like my mild sleep apnea is getting worse, but who knows if it's this shit, probably not.
I haven't gotten sick since I started drinking regularly five years ago, so I'm just going to keep drinking. If I can't get alcohol I might unironically get very ill, and not because of "withdrawal", but because my immune system probably isn't in great shape and I rely on alcohol to keep pathogens at bay. Then again, being immunosuppressed might not actually be a bad thing since your immune system is what fucks your lungs. But if you smoke, definitely stop. I used to smoke occasionally and I'm pretty sure that helped develop my sleep apnea, although a lot of it is just genetic, so who knows. Most humans used to die by age 30 and that was the crucible we evolved in.

The symptoms vary wildly. As long as it does not turn into pneumonia, you should be able to beat it like any other virus like the flu.

If it turns into pneumonia, you better hope your not a boomer. Otherwise your probably done.

Had fever last week for 3 days and still have throat pain and chest tightness. Not sure if I have it but scared to go out as I hear it's bad in Suffolk County.

Bought a big stash before it closed and I'm smoking like 25 joints a day with tobacco. I have a big cough now, surely it must be corona virus.

My energy has been 0. Wake up get tired in a few hours go to bed. Can this be light case of covid?

This. I was sick with it too
The pains and fatigue are identical to a really bad fibromyalgia flare up. If this illness give everyone post viral fatigue that never goes away the economy is fucked anyway

You in Thamesmead or there abouts user?
