Why does the west continually abandon their faith in God? Sin is sin. Drunkenness or homosexuality, it is all equally opposed in the eyes of God, but if man repents and fights his sin, knowing his fallibility and imperfection while worshiping the Lord, he will be at the side of God when he is called. Regardless of denomination, we worship the same God. Why does mother and child discount the Bible for paganism or atheism? Why does the daughter worship nature, part of Man's dominion under God's watchful eye? Why do men cast jests about the Church, or wear the Cross for fashion, yet cast it off in their hearts?
I ask in the kindest way, fearing the wrath of God for the wayward, drawn by Satan perhaps. I bear no hate for those who've turned away, I only ask-How we can bring them back to the light?
It can be observed in social media, among students and coworkers. It is rampant, hidden in plain sight. I don't ask for devout preaching, I only observe that so many are in sometimes overt and direct opposition to scripture. Sometimes willfully, and sometimes from those who have once followed it close.
It only saddens me for their own sake. Especially when they are people one loves.
Robert White
How do you recommend one repent? I ask god for strength to overcome my difficulties and transgressions when I pray
Jaxon Diaz
I'm not worried about communists, however godless, they're the minority of opposition to the Gospel. My thoughts are on those that live lives of sin in disregard for scripture, blindness to morals and ethics, self serving and self pleasing.
Henry Edwards
Personally I think repentance and plea through prayer is effective. I'm certainly no expert and am as fallible as any man. In the end, physical works will never be enough to gain salvation though. It comes through part prayer and part adherence to god's commands, such as to evangelize.
Jackson Rivera
Thanks bro. I’m going to try to build a stronger relationship with the big man upstairs. I don’t pray much these days.
Connor Nguyen
I've been building my relationship a lot recently. It is sstisfying when I catch myself in the commission of, or about to commit a sin because then I can stop it willfully in better adherence to my faith.
Samuel Phillips
>How we can bring them back to the light? "we" can't. Salvation is God's will, not ours. God is sovereign and He saves people for His own Glory. The evangelist is just a messenger and his job is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Lol. You think so do you? China, nk, the far left in the us, the international organisation of antifa whom are allied with communists.
Ayden Lopez
Then the best option is to use evangelism to try and teach those who've gone astray, and encourage them to see God's glory and see how God works through them?
Oliver Gomez
Those, all explain, communists and hyper repressive, authoretarian communists.
State, the system, replaces morality with whatever the state says.
Jace Taylor
What particular factor of life in the west explains the draw away from faith?
How bad can things be? Children given the wrong hormones for their gender, homosexual promiscuity taught in schools. Sin as enlightenment. Greed and self immortance before community and god.
Subversion, demoralisation.
Jeremiah Perez
Watch that video. Stage one is still building, demoralisation. Hyper polarisation, destabilisation. Look at detroit.
Sin as virtue. Look around society.
Hunter Ross
Depends on the person/situation. Tons of variables. The best one can do is to competently preach the Gospel and God takes care of the rest.
Tyler Mitchell
No one wants to listen. Fine. Copy pasta all you want. When the children ask why the man next door is now looking like a woman, you explain to them all about how its not communists and subversion activity and see what happens.
Brody Ramirez
>why? Christians stopped reaching out to people, stopped shoving Jesus in people's faces. When he dropped out of the public eye then support for him waned. Product of the times and culture, really. Jesus is difficult to make money off of, although many televangelists and Catholics have. Too difficult for mass media, can only remake Passion of the Christ so many times.
Gabriel Wilson
Don't worry Satan is packing his bags and going back to hell.

>not religious (spiritual) What is this? >not bhuddist or pagan or jesus or whatever but holy shit do I LOVE spirituality Who would say such a thing? These people must think spirituality is a positive character attribute and say "yes." How can you read books on spirituality or meditate on spirituality without drawing any religious conclusions at all? Drugs? >yeah, spirituality. Spirituality, modern science, and nothing else
Dylan Ortiz
You can't make people want to be more than they are. Love is something they have to choose for themselves because it only has meaning if it is a choice. Though it also means one can choose to ignore the call.
It's a combination of cultural pollution getting in to the message and lack of willingness to explain, in a real way, what Living For God means. When you let neo-spirtuality and eastern concepts like reincarnation and God as part of the world rather than looking on from outside it, and other such inserts as "NIce Jesus" and a million other things, the system of belief stops making sense. A cohesive entity is no longer cohesive once you change all the details. Shocking, huh?
And frankly the way people communicate changed and no one has been willing to explain a lot of what the Bible is even trying to say. Except people like Jordan Peterson.
there are stringent reasons to do so. Even I turned away from god to a certain extent but brought my faith back. I was never an atheist though.
Parker Stewart
A whole lot of eastern concepts are well and good to me, even though I spelled Buddhism wrong. Reincarnation has plenty of people testifying to it. Meditation has many proven benefits. Christianity seems to shun all of that, and it seems ignorant to me. I like the "God as part of the world rather than looking on from outside it" debate. I'm with you, Biblical God is a distinct entity. The God of the Gaps rationale for ignorance in science and elsewhere is pitiful to me. "Here I am! I dwell amongst men!" - God. >Nice Jesus Righteousness and fury, friend righteousness and fury.
Andrew Morris
>paganism Paganism can worship the One True God also. Pan En Theism
Julian Rivera
We are not educated theologically. Schools don't do it, churches don't do it. Without a proper grounding in theology, everyone will drift from God. That's why Judaism and Christianity are built on theological propositions: >I Am that I Am. >Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. >I believe in God the Father almighty... After you get these basics down, you can move on to Christology, classical theism, etc. But no one teaches this stuff any more.
Ian Carter
> churches don't do it Churches give little lessons for a group of similarly-aged people as they slowly plod through the dullest books imaginable. Imagine if they did classes by depth of interest or material. I miss the classroom.
Jack Wilson
Meditation is just a mild mental exercise meant to help your mind stop chattering at you in a panic. There's literally no problem with it. It's just breath control.
Reincarnation I am of the thought one should not think about too hard. A part of me wants to say it's the ultimate solution in terms of giving people second chances to find God rather than burning for eternity or just vanishing. Whichever people believe happens otherwise. Another part of me says pondering the specific nature of life and death is a distraction and a subtle poison in itself. Think neither on the impermanence of this life nor the idea of a future eternity. Your goals can subtly shift from under you that way. Live in the now and do good works in the now because they are good.
Also, Nice Jesus was concocted by Anti-Christians entirely as a method of keeping Christians from being uppity. Insidiously convincing people to not favor those who prove they deserve trust, because favoritism isn't nice, and ensuring no Christian would raise their hand against evil and only stick to worthless impotent bargaining to stop their enemies.
Adam Sanders
>meditation is one thing and it does only one thing There's calming exercises, sure. There's focus meditation, when you mustn't be dissuaded. This may fold into mind-no-mind, which is the must needed waking rest, where your mind orients itself naturally, improving memory. Awareness meditation, a good one, for conditioning against being surprised, not losing track of what is happening, and knowing what is around you. And then there is time-oriented meditation, perceiving experience as discrete, discontinuous steps. And the reverse of that, where there is no discontinuity, and everything flows together. There are many methods to meditation. Reincarnation makes a lot of sense to me, personally. A lot of sense. And every religion that abides by it also includes the idea of eventually breaking free of it.

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? youtu.be/YS-IjoeDuic
Because God invented evil and endowed man with the capacity for evil (in his own image).
If you believe it is true to say that God is good and he loves you, then it is equally true to say that God is evil and he hates you.
If Jesus is Good (selfless, objective morality, fact), then the Holy Spirit is evil (selfish, subjective morality, feelings).
When people embrace the holy spirit, they are embracing their own perceptions, experiences and emotions. They are no better than the screeching SJWs engaged in virtue signalling.
It's the ticking time bomb within Christianity, and it undermines the ideas Jesus taught.
Jason Wright
I stand by saying one mustn't ponder the nature of life and death too much. It can trip you up. I know we all want answers, but I worry about acting for the wrong reasons because of some supposition of rewards or "at least I can try again the next time". Doing good for reward is how a child is first introduced to morality. It's not suitable for an adult. The idea one can try again the next life sounds like it could easily lead to convenient excuses.
Though if I am to be 100% brutally honest, I don't want to have to do all this crap again. I like the world fine when the people in it aren't being shit, but my own problems have been confusing and the bible offers no insight on it specifically. Figuring out my own stupid shit has been unbearable. I only have God to thanks for the strength to stick it out long enough to figure out.
No.
Blake Moore
Because people realized, with the help from secret societies, who wanted to overthrow monarchy, that religion is a form of social control (which is not always a bad thing). Christianity is definitely better that eastern bullshit with the concept of reincarnation and social casts (if you were born into shit - stay there, because it's your bad karma).
Owen Cooper

>If you believe it is true to say that God is good and he loves you, then it is equally true to say that God is evil and he hates you. This is thinking, but what is taught is that God's hatred is for evil. The Holy Spirit point falls apart quickly after that. There's the fine hairs on the creation myth. Pondering things is what I like to do. However, I don't bother with trying to morally justify all of my actions. I try to take the right actions, whether the reasoning is "good" or not. But please, put up an argument to the other poster.
Levi Torres
i find it sad 95% christians are not real christians but opportunistic sinners.
Jackson Morgan
Sorry, I wasn't trying to question your own ability. Just pointing out it can trip others up. To ponder neither the impermanence of the current life or eternal reward is something I picked up from.. a very very strange Hungarian movie on Christianity. Satan takes Adam on a tour through literally all of human history. Up to and beyond the years the movie was made. Then returns to his present wondering what the point of it all was. Satan naturally hoping Adam sides with him in the classical bet against God.. and loses. God shows back up and commands to only think of doing good works in the present. Not ponder on the long future or even the nature of eternal salvation.
Cause inherently the good works ARE the goal.
It wasn't a bad film, but I felt like someone was in to some good shit while making it. It's interesting having a Hungarian acquaintance to introduce me to weird stuff like that.

A Christcuck low-test moralist professor was teaching a class on Jesus, known subverter of tradition. "Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Jesus and accept that he rose from the dead!" At this moment, a brave, wise and virtuos pagan who had read all of the works of Plato and achieved gnosis, and who understood the necessity of combining monistic metaphysics through apophatic theology and ethnic exoteric practice stood up and asked the professor "If Jesus was our savior then why was he Jewish?". The arrogant professor smirked quite Jewishly and smugly replied "Read John 4:22. It clearly states that salvation is of the Jews, you fucking larper." "Wrong", the absolute madman replied, "the Absolute can not be looked for but within Conventional Truth and since the signified precedes its signifier one can not even begin to talk about God but through the subjective experience of the folk but then how can my Aryan salvation depend on the workings of a Jew? The Christian model contradicts empiricism, logic and common sense and as such must be rejected."
"T-this is all wrong, you just haven't prayed enough, if only you had you would understand that I'm right!" the professor screeched in a state of panic. "Prayer is a fool's errand my friend" the student wisely replied, "only knowledge through striving leads to liberation as it's only knowledge which is mutually incompatible with ignorance just as light is to darkness, whereas prayer belongs in the sphere of Jewish submission and can exist without opposition alongside ignorance". The professor was visibly shaken and dropped his copy of the Torah. He stormed out of the room crying those Christcuck crocodile tears. The students all applauded and began to recite Iliad stanzas. An eagle named "Ethos" flew into the room and perched atop the shoulder of the brave student and shed a tear of joy. The works of Plotinus was read aloud several times, and Zeus himself ended the Iron Age.

Hey! Fellow gormless goys...
How does a humble onan take "God" into his heart, when doing so, damages the BRAIN so much...?
>It's the ticking time bomb within Christianity, and it undermines the ideas Jesus taught. Flat out no. This argument for the evil of God is the most common criticism against Christianity, and it always comes from the same misunderstandings from nonbelievers.
There are two vital precepts. I'm not sure which is more important, but I will cover the nature of Choice first. We are all born with the ability to choose. Even if exercising the choice to be better leads to a very swift end.. the choice is there. People must CHOOSE to be good. Without choice, you are just a divine puppet with no thoughts of it's own. God created things [like himself]. Think about what that means. It's not a petty description of appearance. To make more beings like himself requires choice that they might choose to embrace that ideal themselves. You require a consciousness that can see itself to be like God. This is unavoidable. Yes, that choice means one can also choose the other things. Or else it isn't a choice.
The other is understanding God is The Way. That is the way in which things naturally fall in place. You could look at it as merely a description of physical reality, but I prefer it as a description of more esoteric causes and effects. The way in which reality always rubberbands against certain actions. The way in which the world lets someone sacrifice current effort and pain in order to reach a future goal. Why murder degrades someone's psyche. Why even something as simple as sleeping around has it's own vicious consequences within the span of time. Why trying to do things the improper way makes things with inescapable flaws. Why taking the time to do it right makes a thing that lasts.
Evil does not exist because of God. Evil exists in defiance of Him.
intent to be is four states of intelligence before excistence, to be. in this side of black hole, heart gate. these elements are experienced through ego or body as elements. body has intent, but man has come from high above with so much light that if he doesn't use it consicously, intent of body will take him way down to intent aka chaos. you just need to keep your own intent high and fire up all the images that this cycle-time-memory-image intent creates.
understanding-liberation-goodness and love is how i see that trinity. many layers and ways to make it.
Easton Collins
well before love is intent so idk. whatever i say? who needs gods, ball is in your hands.
Elijah Morris
Rather, I should say Evil is not a force of it's own. There is merely an illusion of it's existence caused whenever someone decides not to follow the way of things.
Jeremiah Sanders
>so you could say we are all "gods". Actual genuine heresy.
And the rest is just trying to confuse a much more elegant system with neo-spirituality.
Asher Phillips
Human beings have a psychological "god slot" in their minds. A place in the mind where every thing they perceive will be filtered through. Call it a place for an ideal if you like. It's the same thing. God is an ideal. A living idea. A hyper reality. Even if you reject God, your mind will still seek something to place in to this slot either by your choice or against it. An incomplete or shallow ideal creates strange mentally stunted or mutated people. They, unknowingly, worship money or another person or themselves, or any number of flawed possibilities, as their god.
Even an atheist cannot stop this. They will always filter their world through this highest ideal they hold over themselves. They will just refuse to call it a god. Many ideals jockey for the notice of people who refuse to acknowledge Him, after all, and they'll get it regardless.
GOD ALMIGHTY forms the perfect living idea because He has no set form. He is an ever upward motion. A process by which the idea climbs up on to it's own shoulders again and again and again. Ever improving. Ever polishing away it's own flaws. Always willing to admit it's on inadequacy and grow again. It can never become "perfect" and thus stagnate or rot. It will always have an answer to new problems findable within it's own existing precepts. Cause what is demanded of this ideal is upward momentum and the strength to maintain this true growth.
What makes it difficult for me is how everything has to go back to the faith every two fucking seconds. I don't have a problem with worship or prayer but I would get sick of anything that is talked about that often. Some people can't shut the fuck up about politics, or sports, or netflix, etc, they literally cannot suppress it, they have to go back to their core topic like they're drowning every moment they aren't going on about it. At that point it defeats its own purpose for me.
Isaac Foster
Opinions on Passion of Christ? Never seen it, Mel is a mad lad though so I would hope it's reasonably based
>like they're drowning every moment they aren't going on about it Once you've felt the love of God, anything else does feel like drowning. I find it weird you get annoyed by people who talk about things that make them happy. That sounds like some kind of deep personal issue.
William Myers
I like how you acknowledge one sentence I said, and then immediately go to ignore it. Talking about things that make you happy? Great. Non-stop? Its going to become grating. Somebody could talk about things that make them miserable. If its constant, it becomes irritating. Congratulations on feeling God's love, I'm happy for you. Maybe I'll feel it one day and understand why you can't shut the fuck up about it.
Bentley Anderson
What more do you want me to say? Someone who loves sports will naturally wish to talk about it if they can. Someone who loves God will do similarly. What part of this behavior is unacceptable to you?
I inherently wonder about your definition of "constantly". I've known people who talk exactly like you that treat any mention of specific topics as taboo at all times. Treating even the first mention they've heard from a person as "constantly".
>Somebody could talk about things that make them miserable. I turn this observation back on you. What makes you so miserable about other people finding meaning that you'd become obsessed by it?
Luke Watson
Religion is manmade, it didn't save the plague victims. A realisation we have been lied to for centuries came upon the people.

TLDR /1/ Do not make the mistake of confusing evil with the evil one Evil is likewise the measure of the imperfectness of obedience to the Father's will.
Jesus's teaching about evil, sin according to the Urantia book >[Paper :Section. Paragraph]
4. EVIL, SIN, AND INIQUITY
>[148:4.1] It was the habit of Jesus two evenings each week to hold special converse with individuals who desired to talk with him, in a certain secluded and sheltered corner of the Zebedee garden. At one of these evening conversations in private Thomas asked the Master this question: "Why is it necessary for men to be born of the spirit in order to enter the kingdom? Is rebirth necessary to escape the control of the evil one? Master, what is evil?" When Jesus heard these questions, he said to Thomas:
>[148:4.2] "Do not make the mistake of confusing evil with the evil one, more correctly the iniquitous one. He whom you call the evil one is the son of self-love, the high administrator who knowingly went into deliberate rebellion against the rule of my Father and his loyal Sons. But I have already vanquished these sinful rebels. Make clear in your mind these different attitudes toward the Father and his universe. Never forget these laws of relation to the Father's will:
>[148:4.3] "Evil is the unconscious or unintended transgression of the divine law, the Father's will. Evil is likewise the measure of the imperfectness of obedience to the Father's will.
> [148:4.4] "Sin is the conscious, knowing, and deliberate transgression of the divine law, the Father's will. Sin is the measure of unwillingness to be divinely led and spiritually directed.
>[148:4.5] "Iniquity is the willful, determined, and persistent transgression of the divine law, the Father's will. Iniquity is the measure of the continued rejection of the Father's loving plan of personality survival and the Sons' merciful ministry of salvation
>god is love and no one has limits so you could say we are all "gods".
From the Bible: >You will not surely die,” the serpent told her. 5“For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
You are uttering one of the earliest lies that got mankind into trouble. Anyone reading this message, stay away from any teachings that proclaims that you can become god/ascended. I suspect all new age religions, yoga, reiku etc is from the devil
Jacob Wright
I don't think its unacceptable, it just makes it a lot harder to understand and have a connection with. You make a fair point about the word constantly. If you want me to be absolutely accurate, fine, no one I know talks about one thing 100% of the time, including God. I can't give you a perfect stat on how much of the time someone talks about something. I acknowledge that because you felt God's love, you can't help it, great. Read the words I'm writing: Its annoying, not unacceptable. It doesn't help that religion naturally goes hand in hand with reciting exact phrases over and over. If you don't understand how that can become irritating, replace it with something you don't inherently agree with (mind the fact that I'm not expressly saying "disagree").
I'm not obsessed or upset about people finding meaning, I think its a great thing, I don't go trying to dissuade or impede people's faith. I'm simply adding to the discussion what personally has been a roadblock for me. I can't make it any more clear than that.
