When they say there are two straings of coronavirus, it's not because it mutated in the wild. It's because there were (at least) two strains of coronavirus in the lab that got out at the same time. The hantavirus was being studied, too. I mean, of course it was! And it escaped, too.
That's why there was such a hard lockdown of Wuhan by the Chinese. They KNEW all sorts of shit got out.
