Because the basis of National Socialism is racial patritoism. A person of any race CAN BE a National Socialist but they can only be a Natioanal Socialist for their own race. To take away the "Nationalism," the true Nationalism, the love of race and folk which is the foundation of National Socialism Would be to take away all of that which gives the ideology truth and value. It makes the organizing principle of the state those ideas which are the most obviously sympathetic to all evolutionary organisms and are only suppressed today through the most extreme of propaganda. My mistake then, if all people of any race can be considered of the nation for their own race then that universal and stronger bond would definitely be love of one's own people and of one's own children. The difficulty still stands with claims of superiority in cause. Assuming one race may have natural advantages to say that that justifies rightful lordship and greater importance is problematic. As if to say because California has a better economy than Montana, Californians should dictate how Montana is governed.

Nations rise from peoples. Ethnic peoples. Nothing else. No state has been created by any other means that endured. Even Belgium, a half-state formed of 3 peoples is a joke. However when a people share an identity, a language, and most importantly of all a race, then they have the capacity to form a nation.
To understand why the EU is failing you must understand that (from your post) your vision of a pan-nationalist movement cannot be formed by "uniting" other movements under one flag in a union. It can only be formed as an alliance of multiple movements/nations. Even Britain's mighty commonwealth understands and employs this. Adi got it right with his alliances.
Now, call your movement what you want, give it the flag you desire. But be clear on your principles and objectives and ensure you understand the difference between a union and a network of alliances.

I'm not sure about that part about how having one race is required for a nation's success, while very effective at maintaining a nation's identity my nation the USA has quite a lot of propaganda that our identity is primarily our banner not our genetics. It produces mutts, yet it also produces a strong union despite natural differences and in reality the black people live around other black people and whites live with whites yet all still pledge their allegiance every day since they could talk but before they themselves become independent.
How much does the EU do to enforce that the state of Germany or Greece is a product of the union and that they cannot have any authority over identity. I speak to you as an American not a Pennsylvanian for this reason.
