Couple of years ago my POS slumlord decided that after losing a bunch of money while gambling, he was going to change the rent date and tried collecting on the same day he tried to make the change.

Well he decided he was going to try to get money from one of the black tenants first (who was actually a hard working and chill dude). The tenant told him to fuck off with his shit. When the asshole tried to force his way into the apartment to throw his stuff out, the tenet pushed his ass over the railing and fell about 4 stories. The asshole survived the fall and the black tenant calmly walked down the stairs and then shot him in the face.

No one said anything when the cops came because no one like him.

I currently live in a "family" run rental. They own the building, but run the business through a rental management company.

The appliances are all broken, at night I hear mice in the walls, and during inspections they have tried to charge me for damage which existed before I moved in.

And when COVID hit, they called me on my phone, and told me "they would be carrying out a video-call inspection". They hit me with a £30 late fee every time I can't clear rent the same day, and now apparently I'm their fucking employee?

Im just saying you buy property and barely profit renting it out its no different than buying really high risk stock. One little housing market correction and you are done.
