Living in America isn't affordable. Most of the jobs that are available don't even pay a living wage and I wouldn't consider sentence a child to wage slavery. Zero atm, was forced to shut business down (small, niche finance company) because the market became wildly saturated and I accumulated an insurmountable tab with uncle sam. Looking at other options, but there aren't any jobs paying reasonable income. No college degree but have always made ~$100k/year (~40% tax rate including SE + expenses in city left very little). No one hiring for anything near that without degree and I'm not willing to work for peanuts.
