After spending endless hours in online forums, social media pages, and boards such as Yas Forums where Islam was routinely attacked, I started actually researching out of my own curiosity all the accusations made against Islam, the prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and the history of the Muslims by using actual verified religious and historical sources. This is when I discovered that practically every attack against Islam made in such circles was nothing but baseless lies and propaganda which was part of an unrelenting effort to hide the truth, which is Islam, while allowing the disbelievers to project their own evil ways onto Islam and the Muslims.
Thank you guys for helping me divorce myself from the lies of the disbelievers and finding the ultimate truth in God and his final messenger Muhammad (pbuh).
Islam is based on flawed logic. Even if you ignored all the criticism against it, it posits that God changed His mind after Jesus and sent another prophet, despite the entirety of the Old Testament building to the messiah that is Jesus. Not only that, it’s a flawed scale because you can never do enough good to outweigh the bad you’ve done, as the punishment of sin is death. Jesus said he’s the only way to the father, so if Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet, but don’t believe in the words Jesus said, then they’re violating the second commandment and creating their own version of God. If they believe the words have changed, then they’re going against what God says about His word being eternal and unchanging, and again creating their own version of God. The worst thing is, all of these assumptions, plus many more have to be made in order to justify Islam. If you have to simply assume based on faulty evidence and anecdotes that Mohammed was a good person(which he wasn’t) or that the New Testament/Old testament is corrupted but your new third book the Quran isn’t, then you’re probably believing in lies. That’s what Islam is, a lie to try and get people to submit to satan by tricking them into thinking they’re believing in the one true God.
