which chains are gonna be gone as a result of the coronavirus economic crisis?

Steak n Shake, almost dead
Subway, probably dead soon

Chinese Restaurants

I cannot believe anyone would still eat at a Chinese place these days. Might as well grab a handful of whatever is in the bottom of the sewer nearest you and shove it in your mouth.

Kek. It's over for them.

the big ones will most likely survive, it's the local restaurants that are getting crushed rn. Waiters and bar tenders and going to be ruined. Future youth and nig riots are almost inevitable at this point it's just a matter of time.

subway jews only have themselves to blame. mixing in tire chemicals to make bread seem sturdier, buying the lost quality meats, jewing customers on cheap garbage toppings.

im glad they are dying

You'd have to be beyond retarded to order from any restaurant at this time

Definitely this.

Most Chinese independent mom & pop restaurants will be gone but I guarantee Panda Express will still be around. In fact it's safe to say that most mom & pop restaurants and family-owned businesses will be gone, period. Which will unfortunately give more way to the big Kike corporations.

Chain restaurants will probably be fine. It’s the local restaurants who are fucked.

Clemson and Seneca Chick-fil-A shut down pozzed for CoronaChan.

No more Jared Special.

>tfw the only restaurant they've built in my town in the past 10 years is a Panda Express. They're not even open yet and they're already going to go out of business.

How can any restaurant food be safe from this shit?

Starbucks. Let’s use our autist super powers and pol magic and will it to happen. Make it happen, faggots, dammit!

Delivery and takeout is still allowed to be open

not mcdonalds. its considered "essential" so im still working. FUCK MY LIFE

Every one but Taco Bell.

I'm IT for a corporate office of a small national restaurant chain.

Lots of national chains will be gone as you know them currently. Small mom and pops will close. Small chains will change ownership as they will be bought en masse by investment groups for pennies. Most are desperately trying to get funding to last even a few more weeks. If this mess goes on for months then it would be safe to say that almost none will survive.

Any chain that was in the process of expansion and opening new locations is dead. Most mom and pops or small chains are already dead and just don't know it yet. They will try to last until they can reopen for regular service bit once they reopen they will have thousands to spend in restart costs, thousands they will not have.

The problem is that restaurants operate at very very tight margins. The company I'm with was booming, making about $50mil/year. But when the mandated closures hit last week, we immediately dropped over 90% of our staff because we only have about $2mil in liquid captol at any given time. That's barely enough for one payroll period.

Checked! Starb*cks bankrupt in April!

Based

Confirmed, it’s habbening!

I vote

>O'Charleys
>Long John Silver
>TGI Friday's
>Applebees
>Olive Garden
>Dead Lobster
>Subway
>Quiznos
>Firehouse

Honorable mention: Chili's if they don't get their shit together. They all need tip go the way of Kmart.

>personal finance advisors consistently argue that you should have funds for 3 months of living
>companies don't have 3 months of payroll on hand to survive
why wouldn't the personal finance theories also apply to the survival of the corporation?

dunno bro, i fix printers and databases, not bank accounts

I wasn't specifically asking you to fix it, just more of a thought on how dumb the bean counters can be

In the UK it's going to be pretty brutal, lots of smaller chains aiming for the middle of the market will get wiped out.

I hope that is an analog delay

NOOOOO NOT MY HECKIN ENDLESS PASTARINO AND BREAD STICKS

all of them.

Free plague with every order of cat meat passed of as chicken.

We already knows how this ends

Unironically perhaps McDonalds, they have literally worse delivery infrastructure than regular takeaways, can hardly believe McDelivery is only within a mile still in most places.

Kind of a shame honestly as most Chinese restaurants are perfectly fine to eat at and don't even serve real Chinese food, just American versions of everything and some dishes that literally are completely made up.

shut up, lying chick

Based and 3shellpilled

the margins you can make if you invest the money to grow instead of keeping it up just in case, increases exponentially, so, people rather risk it.

Rollin for Roastie Garden

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

This. Your favorite independent diners, pubs, and breweries will be gone. ZOG will bail out the multinational fake food corporations.

Yeah.
Funny enough I think a lot of takeaways are going to do gangbusters as there won't be anything else worth doing on a Friday night.

Kek. Olive Garden thots BTFO'd.

RIP Chinese food
I'm a racist first and a foodie second. It's too bad no one knows the recipes for Chinese food so you can make it at home. Ah well, I'll just go for a toast sandwich. That always cheers me up.

Whataburger will survive, that's all I care about.

I hope you're right, taco bell's cheap menu is the only degenerate food I still like. fuck nasty smelling mcdonalds

this is fantastic for a shut in autist like me, i never eat in public and only go to stores or drive thrus, everyone is being forced to live my lifestyle so fucking BASED

Those are all shit. We would all be better off.

How can delivery and takeout be safe from the virus?
Let it sit out three days before you eat it?

It is the day of the introvert.
We've been forced to live in extrovert heaven for decades. Maybe an ovrreaction in the other direction will let things balance out somewhere in the middle eventually.

Only thing I can figure is that there’s more SHTF options for big biz than an individual. I work for a restaurant that does like 80% of its revenue in 3-4 months of the year but is Open year round. We have to have large budgets of operating capitol bc we have to float through negative months etc. if this virus hit in like October after we just refilled our coffers it wouldn’t matter but it came right as we’re about to exit the slow season. Rent and other fixed costs is going to be what kills businesses. Luckily our Rent is based on sales so should be fine.

Just guessing but here it will hit german family restaurants the hardest meanwhile shitskins will open up kebab shops like usual and get a 0% 15k gibs for "business starters" then months later it "fails" and his brother 2/23432 roach number 2 does the same collects 15k until roach nr.3 comes.

Nuke we need nukes here... dropped from above.

will mcdonalds make it? no equity doesnt seem to be a good point these days

Came here to say Steak n Shake. They are absolutely fucked and will be completely gone in less than 5 years. Damn near every location in the St. Louis area "shut down temporarily" and they were offering stores to people for $10K. Only 1 location has reopened.

Mcdonalds is doing just fine from what I’ve seen in my area. Fast food will make it unfortunately

>Honorable mention: Chili's
I ate there last month, sat at the bar and had a avocado chicken sandwich that was surprisingly good.

Applebees has a better chance of surviving than chili’s IMO

ok. what parts of the usa are shut-down so far. new york, california...anything else?

Subway is a franchise it will be fine

Ami subhuman go home.

“foodies” deserve the rope

Everone except Taco Bell

What's up fellow Clemson user. Sucks about the CFA tendies. God speed!

I got Chinese take-out in January, February, and early March. I'm doing just fine.

I bet. I bet the chopsticks are loaded with corona alone

Bartender here, been "temporarily laid off" a week ago.
