I've been to Taiwan 3 times now. I love Taiwan, and wish somehow Taiwan could take over the world. Taiwan compared to the hellhole that is USA is paradise on Earth. Sure the buildings are chabuduo concrete blocks with bathroom tiles on them, but it's fine. It keeps people out and mainlanders saying "oh look how Taiwan is poor because they don't have styrofoam towers with LEDs like us." It has cozy, and usually not that dangerous chabuduo. Only about 10-20% dangerous chabuduo. That is the perfect zen level of chabuduo. The only complaint is sometimes it is too grey and rainy out, but it's just the sky being chabuduo, too.
I hope you guys can take back the mainland soon and the superior KMT Sun flag flies over all the mainland instead of their demonic pentagrams, and all the Mao statues are thrown into the sea and replaced with Chiang statues.
Also most Taiwanese stuff I've bought has been pretty decent. Surprisingly even before Corona some American retailers like Home Depot and Lowes started carrying Taiwanese stuff again instead of mainland stuff for their mid-tier tools, as the mainland stuff has such shitty QC. Corona ironically probably will boost the Taiwanese economy considerably once the dust settles. Sadly because of Corona I've not gone to the Asian market since December, and have not bought any cases of canned Taiwanese coffee or pineapple cakes since then. :(
Finally a feel good thread
