I've never been that impressed with Striker. Any time he talks about a subject I'm knowledgeable on I cringe, it's like he has a surface level knowledge on a wide variety of subjects. Mike handled destiny way better.

So Destiny, because he knows this a bit better, was able to do a disingenuous but convincing argument about jazz being super complex or whatever.
Striker could have been able to explain that music theory has been developed by people who were philosophers and mathematicians, looking for a hypothetical hidden order and beauty in things, striving for perfection and so on.
But he didn't because he has no clue. So it's not enough to say the right thing, you have to be able to justify it, otherwise you fall to a clever guy doing sophistry like Destiny.
And same thing on economics.
Striker should have stuck to discussing high-level topics like who owns and controls banking.
As soon as you get into the details, same as music, Destiny gets you. It's not that Destiny has a PhD in economics. He's probably read one or two books about pop econ, and follows a few good blogs. But Striker does not.
Again, it's fine. But don't enter a debate unprepared like this, keep your opponent in a place where you have the advantage.
Striker could have done a good job as a "man on the street" discussing morality, discussing who defends whose interests, things like that.
It's not just about Striker, it's true for any sort of debate like that. Don't debate a globalist on details of international trade, banking regulation or things like that. They have the MBAs and the degrees to understand the jargon and the mechanisms.
