He literally didn't exist

If the scriptures say exactly how the messiah is supposed to come isn’t the prophecy self-fulfilling?

You pray to Nostradamus or what?

Christians are mainly motivated by extreme feelings of fear and insecurity. Also a need for a pattern of dominance and submission which is how they interpolate all interpersonal relations. This is also the same mentality that sociopaths have BTW. If you take the Christianity out of the Christian, you just have a flat out sociopath 90% of the time. They're fairly sociopathic even with the Christianity, obviously, but its even worse when they're unrestrained by their stupid rules

Actual atheistfag here. It doesn't matter. Humanity is a fucking pile of shit and needs a magic sky daddy to keep them in line. Without the concept of consequences in our mind all the time, we starts doing harm to ourselves and those around us. To have a functioning society, we need to behave. To behave, we need the thread of punishment regardless if anyone is watching. Magic Sky Daddy provides that and therefore becomes a necessary evil.

Get the fuck off this board with your toxic bullshit, cunt.

Bro I'm Christian because my dad is Christian and my grandfather was Christian and my great grandfather and my great great grandfather. It's kind of a family tradition so to say and I love tradition, that's why I'm Christian

But he did

According to their own fucking book, he intentionally tried to fulfill prophecy. What a tool of a messiah

uhhhhhhh yes he did

He did actually, he was an apocalyptic preacher that got crucified by the Romans. Of course he didn't do any of the miracle shit or anything.

It doesn't say it "exactly", but Jesus doesn't fulfill even the basic stuff.

I don't pray at all.

>Get the fuck off this board with your toxic bullshit, cunt.
How is discussing religious "toxic"? Don't be a snowflake.

Yeah, and there's some prophecies that Jesus "fulfilled" that weren't even a thing, like being born of a virgin. The new testament is a mess.

25And you shall know and understand that from the emergence of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until the anointed king [shall be] seven weeks, and [for] sixty-two weeks it will return and be built street and moat, but in troubled times.
26And after the sixty-two weeks, the anointed one will be cut off, and he will be no more, and the people of the coming monarch will destroy the city and the Sanctuary, and his end will come about by inundation, and until the end of the war, it will be cut off into desolation.
27And he will strengthen a covenant for the princes for one week, and half the week he will abolish sacrifice and meal- offering" -Daniel 9:24-27

The Bible explains each of the scriptural prophecies he fulfilled.

Either you believe in the Bible and Christ, or you dont. There's no point trying to separate Christ from the messianic prophecies, because the entire Old Testament was prophecies, and the entire New Testament was explaining how Christ fulfilled them.

Messianic Jews, the ones who think the messiah is yet to come, are fucking retarded.

>"We want a messiah!"
>"...not that one."

As if they get to decide who God sends as messiah. They wanted a conqueror and enslaver, and they got a liberator/peacemaker instead.

After the messiah comes, the world is suppose to be at peace, no more wars, "God will be King over all the world", the third temple must be build, none of that happened. Jesus failed.

Wow you took the ordinary level of Christian retardation to a whole new level. Amazing. You believe in an imaginary sociopathic skyman "cuz tradition". OK. Just wow.
Also people obsessed with "tradition" are also hugely fearful and insecure of any sort of change, basically. You're just a weak, frightened man, clinging desperately to your delusions.

He didn't fail , Jews failed him by killing him and breaking the old covenant.

If the scriptures say he is a conqueror then how can Christ be the messiah? Or do the scriptures not say that?

first video goes through like 40 of the prophecies

y'know I bought the culture-pill there for a while until I realized that the culture is precipitated by the faith. In other words, the culture would be nothing without the faith, hence our sacraments and repetitive duties. Going to church is to reaffirm your faith, and to keep you still on the correct track. Most of the atheists, and niche religious folk are satisfied with thinking that freedom to do the wrong thing is right, however, it is more accurate to state that freedom is the ability to choose to do the right and just things. Until they get over their Napoleon complexes, arguing with an authority that they claim to not even believe in in the first place because they despise the imposition of duties.

tl;dr Doing right won't get you saved, but it will help you to live an honest, and meaningful life. It is how I choose to live mine, and things have certainly improved for me, and when I share my experiences with like-minded individuals they seem to reciprocate my sentiments.

Zachariah 12:10 tells of him coming to save the Jews as the Bible promises.
When he comes it says this:
"10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."
Think about that, really stop and think about that. When he comes to save them. They will recognize him as the one they pierced.
Which means he would have been here already.
Which is what Daniel 9 says. Daniel 9 says that he is cut off and eliminates the need for sin offering.
How would him being cut off eliminate the need for sin offering?
Isaiah 53 talks about that.
There is person who lived, who eliminated sin offering. Who died for our sins as Isaiah 53 talks about. And who was pierced as Zachariah 12 says. A person that they will recognize and notice again what Zachariah 12:10 says...
They will weep for him as a for a firstborn son.
A firstborn son.

It feels GREAT knowing how much you fags shill against my Lord, and that the end is already written

If Christians handed you 3.8 Billion shekels yearly, would you ever finish the temple???

The scriptures speak of one who will bring blessings on the Israelites, who will reign over the Earth as kings, and all manner of good things will come to them.

They expected a warlord, one who forcefully take these things. What they got was a man who told them to "turn the other cheek" to their Roman oppressors. Sort of disappointing, I'd imagine.

But they were shortsighted. Christ was a warlord. Or would you deny that Christianity has reached the four corners of the world, with followers in the billions, who have, at times, forcefully converted heretics and pagans, and who have been incalcuably blessed (history's greatest warriors and generals, produce most of the food for the world, the world's greatest inventors)?

Even in His death, his teachings have brought nothing but good things to His followers. Do you notice that the decline of the West is happening at the same time as the decline in faith in Christ?

This is NOT a coincidence.

Because you're a liar, and your fate is bound to your will to believe in something beyond yourself.

Not only that. Jesus IS a conqueror because he is gonna come back like one. To take back the souls of the Earth.

>Christ was a warlord
Christ was not a warlord I would say that.
What is your definition of warlord? And the greatest genaral was Alexander the great

>why do christians believe in this fraud again?

Because most Christians are frauds (pic related).

>meaningful messianic prophecies
And who decides what "meaningful" is? Rabbis?
Rabbinicism is a post-Christian Jewish novelty, they have no authority.

>but Jesus doesn't fulfill even the basic stuff
Basic according to who?
You realize this shit is up to interpretation, right?

Are you seriously coming to Yas Forums to convince us to listen to Jewish rabbis over and above God?

He wasn't even the only Jewish moshiach claimant from that era.

Daily reminder: Jewish prophesy demands the Jewish moshiach must destroy all goy nations, enslave all goyim, meaning you, to Jews, and all the property in the world must be delivered to Jews. Rabbi Yeshua didn't accomplish these requirements which is why Jews rejected him. For similar reasons, Jews claimed other Jews were their moshiach because they killed goyim and Romans. But those messiah claimants were also fake and gay, just like all Jewish bullshit LARP, and they died like bitches to Roman swords.

Oh but the Jewish rabbis don't approve of those ones. Guess we have to go back to the drawing board.

Attached: dLfPsSw.png (786x438, 345.53K)

Your Jewish moshiach was repeatedly called rabbi. You'd know this if you actually read the book.

>Daily reminder: Jewish prophesy demands
Who gives a fuck what Jews think?

And? It just means teacher.

Being a teacher in and of itself doesn't bestow some magical supernatural authority.

Okay, so explain what I mentioned in my previous post.

I think that verses such as Zechariah 12:10 and Isaiah 53 are simply misinterpreted by Christians. But I don't want to discuss that. Just explain to me why the Third Temple is not a thing yet, and why all the other prophecies that would shake the entire world didn't happen.

Not an argument.

>Christ was a warlord. Or would you deny that Christianity has reached the four corners of the world, with followers in the billions, who have, at times, forcefully converted heretics and pagans
Irrelevant. What matters is what the messiah himself does, not his follower hundreds of years after the fact.

>forcefully converted heretics and pagans
Muslim purged Christians out of some countries, and they continue to do that, is that a blessing?

>and who have been incalcuably blessed (history's greatest warriors and generals, produce most of the food for the world, the world's greatest inventors)?
Most Christian were peasants or lived in slums, suffered from horrible diseases like the black plague or tuberculosis.

>Do you notice that the decline of the West is happening at the same time as the decline in faith in Christ?
As cucked as the west is, most people still live better than Christians lived back then. What a silly argument.

>moshiach
Also, way to give yourself away, rabbi.

lol he fulfilled them all you dumb tranny

*tips fedora*

Basically why Martin Luther thought it was a good idea for everyone to read it on their own.

The majority of your ancestors were not Christian.

ikr
>inb4 OP nitpicking tf out of it

Aside from him being descended from Abraham, ie: a Jew, none of those are Jewish prophesy.

Attached: 1547780324989.jpg (250x209, 9.75K)

He literally died and was resurrected.

I'm sorry? What was that? I can't hear you over how wrong you are?

Attached: messiah.jpg (794x1123, 509.16K)

>And? It just means teacher.
No, it doesn't. Repeating this lie again and again will only result in you being humiliated for it.

I'm quoting your Jew book to you and you call me a Jew? He claimed to be the Jewish moshiach and invoked the Torah. There was no "messiah" in Greco-Roman culture, you melt.

um sweeties....

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Testament_messianic_prophecies_quoted_in_the_New_Testament#Prophecies_considered_fulfilled

He was real and you will bend the knee before him one day.

Attached: shroud.png (1292x8757, 3.91M)

is this from the old testament?

Those were all qualifiers, but not the fulfillment of what the Jewish moshiach was actually supposed to do, ie: kill your nation and enslave you to Jews.

I bet you guys don't know the significance of the "render unto Caesar" line.

>what matters is what the messiah himself does
>not the followers
>even though they wouldn't have done anything if it weren't for their faith in him
>what are tangentially related actions?
>what is motive?

>Muslims are an irreconcilable threat

> Most Christian were peasants
most people are peasants. why are you acting like suffering and struggling isn't a part of life?

>most people still live better than Christians lived back then
and yet they still did more with what they have, than what most do now. Moreover, with what metrics are you using to determine quality of life? Their are more people prescribed to chronic medication use than their ever has been. More people dying from heart disease than ever before, and we are in the middle of a pandemic. You sir, have the silly argument.

Attached: 1560502292821.jpg (2535x1261, 540.83K)

Isn't it common sense? You know, third temple, world peace, knowledge of god for all, literally a completely new era for humanity. That is the big important stuff, not riding a donkey.

>3. Messiah would be born of a virgin.
Mistranslated.

>8. Messiah would be heir to King David's throne.
There are two genealogies in the bible, both are contradictory.

>18. Messiah would be called a Nazarene.
Literally nowhere in the Old Testament.

Many others are misinterpreted and stuff. You can tell the writers of the gospels were trying really hard so Jesus could fulfill stuff.

Okay, and the important stuff?

No prophecy about that. I guess ywhw forgot to mention it.

>I think that verses such as Zechariah 12:10 and Isaiah 53 are simply misinterpreted by Christians. But I don't want to discuss that. Just explain to me why the Third Temple is not a thing yet, and why all the other prophecies that would shake the entire world didn't happen
They seem pretty clear to me. And when read with an understanding of Daniel 9 it explains the time that he would show up, that the Anointed One would be cut off, and end sin offering because he took our sins and transgressions. And then the people of that King would come and destroy Jerusalem and the Temple.
Which is exactly what happened.
The reason the parts of prophecy related to him saving Israel have not taken place is because he had to be cut off to end sin offering the first time. In order for them to look upon the one they pierced to weep for him as a firstborn son (Only begotten Son) he had to be cut off the first time and then come again a second time.
That's why the other prophecies haven't taken place....they will soon.

These are prophecies stated in the Old Testament which are conferred in the New Testament. If you wanted to delve into outside sources, I would look at Flavius Josephus.

Attached: 1578229970567.png (960x603, 511.73K)

pope said he is a dude

>predicts kikes gonna get btfo'd
>they get btfo'd by Titus shortly after

He fulfilled the best prophecy.

>3. Isaiah 7:14 conferred by Luke 1:26-31
>8. 2 Samuel 7:12 conferred by Luke 1:32-33
>18. To be born of Nazareth was said to be of low-birth quality. Matthew 2:23 is not inconsistent in this way.

Humanity goes back approximately 200.000 years, while Christianity is a 2.000 year old hipster trend, that dies off in the west (finally). Now tell me again about tradition. And I can't stress enough how important preservation of culture and tradition is, which only makes Christianity a tumor.

Attached: 1565395918758.png (785x178, 45.81K)

That's not much desu

>Alexander the Great

Ask yourself a few questions:

Who did God make a Covenant with originally?
Did they honor said Covenant?
Who did God make a New Covenant with?
Which tribe(s) descended from this person?
Did those tribes remain in their homeland?
If they did not, where did they go?
Is anything ever truly Lost?
Where did Alexander the Great hail from?
Where did the people of that place hail from?
Trace his lineage. Macedonians didnt just spring from the aether.

The answers will lead you to what might be some startling conclusions.

>1. Messiah would be born of a woman.
Wow, that's a hard one.
>2. Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.
Sure, that fits
>3. Messiah would be born of a virgin.
Let's assume this one is true
>4. Messiah would come from the line of Abraham
If the previous one is true, this one is false since Jesus lacks Joseph's bloodline
>5. Messiah would be a descendant of Isaac.
See above
>6. Messiah would be a descendant of Jacob.
See above
>7. Messiah would come from the tribe of Judah.
What a coincidence. Our chosen one comes from our own tribe.
>8. Messiah would be heir to King David's throne.
See 4
>9. Messiah's throne will be anointed and eternal.
Not exactly provable, unless you want to visit heaven and report back
>10. Messiah would be called Immanuel.
Was he?
>11. Messiah would spend a season in Egypt.
I guess you'd want your savior to see the world a bit
>12. A massacre of children would happen at Messiah's birthplace.
Sure, that's part of the story.
>13. A messenger would prepare the way for Messiah
Has there ever been a point in history when some jackass wasn't going on about some Messiah coming soon?
>14. Messiah would be rejected by his own people.
Fits the bill
>15. Messiah would be a prophet.
No shit
>16. Messiah would be preceded by Elijah.
Prophet power creep
>17. Messiah would be declared the Son of God.
Implying this doesn't apply to every male
>18. Messiah would be called a Nazarene.
Meaning?
>19. Messiah would bring light to Galilee.
Did he?
>20. Messiah would speak in parables.
What prophet doesn't?
>21. Messiah would be sent to heal the brokenhearted
I guess that's part of his job
>22. Messiah would be a priest after the order of Melchizedek
Who?
