It's the exact same outrage virality marketing tactics across every medium. The problem they haven't fully realized yet is you alienate every audience by repeatedly drawing from this sewer and abusing the interest of your former fans. Some new slimeball hollywood director or out of work tumblr artist in a turnover cycle doesn't care and thinks he'll make a name for xerself based on all their equally cancerous lefty friends in their small SF or Twitter/Reddit bubble patting them on the back.
