I was born in the USA. But get this Salvadoreans don't consider me Salvadorean. Neither do Americans because I have an accent. So I'm stuck in the middle of no where. Mexicans don't consider me Mexican so they don't want me either. So yes I am a mutt with no since of belonging. Worst of all since I was a baby my dad moved around a lot do to work. So I never had a group of friends or a place to call home. Yes, I am a mutt.
And that's not the worst part. For some reason my dad kept moving to black ghetto hoods. Guess rent was cheaper there. So I didn't grow up with Hispanics I grew up with blacks. In one of the schools I attended this was a Washington D.C ghetto I was the only non black in the school. Yes I'm a mutt no past, no roots, no groups no place to call home. That's what a mutt is just a wanderer on Earth.

hey man, I am also Latino. My parents came here when they were kids, so I am fully Americanized, with white friends, yet clearly I don't look like them. The people I do look like are immigrants themselves and didn't do so great in school. I also have an accent since Spanish was the first language I learned.
I love the USA, and overall Americans. I do not fit in with Latinos, but nor do I with whites.
