I'm in the same boat. I work the lumber desk and mostly handle all the special order items for contractors, but being a relatively small operation myself and two others handle the sales for all yard materials. Homeowners need to stay home unless there is a problem that needs to be fixed immediately. That keeps us in business and contractors working. If we get sick they can't fix shit and construction in our area will grind to a halt. People are acting like this is a vacation and we can't even buy hand sanitizer to make sure we don't get sick and spread the damn virus.

There's no fucking way a non-profit "learning" farm that teaches people how to agriculture is essential. It wasn't on the NY list.
