I went to a Cabelas north of Minneapolis earlier today and they were well stocked on fudd guns, but they were sold out on almost all practical defense rifles and handguns. The only glock they had was a 10mm. No 9mm, 45cal or other common calibers in stock. I was able to buy the ccw holster I went in for though.

You can't approach the counter anymore either, you have to take a number and wait behind a barrier until called.

L.A. county shut down their only gun shop. Hence I move to the Inland Empire

And to answer your question the gun store I went to had such a line that I got there at about 7pm and didn't get served until after 9 and didn't finally walk out until 10ish.
They had three people working and they were taking care of two people each.
Also take into account you don't need to register or anything here just fill out a strawbuyer form a background check and you are good to go.

Semi-auto handguns with hammers are the best due to this. The ones with safety decockers are really good.

Technically we can do the same thing if we wanna go though the process of becoming an FFL, which I bet is the same or less hoops to jump through as you guys go through to get a license to just own a gun. FFL application is like $150-300 and lasts 3 years. With it you can order guns straight to your house and sell them.

The gun license process probably cost me no more than 100 leafbucks total, which is like less than 70USD right now. That's a non restricted license though. So I can't own handguns. Just long guns (minus AR-15)
