Yugoslavia was one of the most loved countries in the world before the 90s. Just look at how many world leaders attended Titos funeral.

My wife is Serbian, and I've spent time in Belgrade , Montenegro, Croatia. My opinion is based on my experiences and what she tells me. Slavs are fucking tricky. Serbs are the hegemons since both the first and second Yugoslav states could never have materialized without Serb war efforts. True, Montenegro played its part, for example its commendable what Janko Vukotic did in ww1 but Serbia proper is the Piedmont of Serbdom, no discussion there. If anything Bosnian and Croat Serbs stained the reputation the Serbian soldier once had by commiting attrocities and rape during the yugo wars.
