So tomorrow I need to buy groceries

>What should I expect?
Empty shelves everywhere and a feeling of dread, disappointment and depression.
Death
SUCH FEAR!
i was thinkin about goin tomorrow too
COVID-19
A distinct lack of groceries
Maybe we'll meet.
Darn it.
I'll post pics if I get back.
I only had to shoot 3 people and pistol whip a couple of children on my trip to Winco today, mostly everything but bottled water and shit tickets were good supply.
Wait until Tuesday... the shelves are empty and the trucks probably don’t come until Monday and then the stuff needs to get onto the shelves Monday night.
i went to costco last week days and it was stocked full besides missing certain supplies. They had toilet paper.
You do know purified water is 30 caps per pop, right?
Fpbp.
Caps?
shit you want will be out of stock
costco supply lines are truly impressive.
Yeah caps! How the fuck do you plan on paying for them?
Never played fallout?
Aren't really missing much
If you’re not buying toilet paper you’ll be fine. I just got two pork loins, eggs, milk, bread, veggies and fruits at Costco yesterday, no fuss. And gas’s was 1.55 to boot which is good because I only get about 9mpg.
Sunbelt poster here. Not seen milk, bread, or meat at any grocery at open for two weeks. Been visiting several chains each morning for intel... meat manger at a Publix has stated they are receiving less and less each day on their 6am trucks.
Go early as fuck. Like 20 mins after they open.
Amazingly, no I haven't.
Now this is encouraging.
This is less encouraging.
Don't know where you're at but here a lot more than toilet paper is gone. We have no milk, no eggs, no pasta, no soups, no ramen etc etc
Funny thing is easy stuff for normies to cook are all gone. Veggies and fruits are all fine. Normies are clearing out the cheap, easy stuff.
I think the meat shortages are gonna be a fucking problem. It's everywhere. Normally I'm a "grab some meat and grill it" kind of guy too. It's slim pickings now, you gotta see what's left and available.
Grocery shopping was not as bad today as friday and Saturday
store finally had chicken thighs in last night. Price was 4.79/lb, normally it's 3.00
prepare your ani
Go early, as soon as they open. There will be a line. Have a plan. Wear gloves. Zip in and out. You will get necessities. They restock every night. Target restocks every two nights. Most of the pics you see are from lazy fatsos at like 2pm.
avoid the raiders.
empty shelves, distance markings, people wearing masks and gloves, some retards arguing about the last package of toilet paper. at least in germany.
in america its probably the same + dindus trying to rob you
Absolutely nothing.
Kroger is stocked to the walls. Meat, EGGS, milk, bread, paper towels, tissue, wipes, water... etc
The only thing I couldn't find was flour for baking.
no, go in the final half hour. they restock like an hour before close
You can still get everything you need, but you have to go to like 5 stores. One will be out of flour, the other eggs, one will have no dairy, it's irritating. And you still see boomers panic buying everything, dumb perishable shit. Why do you think you need 30 cartons of eggs? Just buy a live chicken if you're so concerned.
I went to Costco this morning, I had to wait in line but I was able to buy everything I wanted. Toilet paper, paper towels, eggs and bread. Go early.
Nothingburger except reduced hours and stock fluctuation in certain locations.
In my area (Connecticut) it's like but without distance markings and only ~1/6 people wearing masks OR gloves.
As long as you're not desperate for TP, you'll probably be okay, but be prepared to be disappointed by a handful of specific items you wanted.
I haven't had any issue getting most things.
Bread, the most common meats (chicken breast/tenderloin, etc) and toilet paper can be a big meme sometimes and completely empty but you're not going to starve kek.
Don't be afraid to look for substitutes and you might have to pay a bit extra for things like pasta if the cheapest store brands are gone.
Remember to check freezer section for frozen bread too if you really need it, people forget it's sold that way.
Was fine for me, but we had to queue in autistically measured distances from each other. Thankfully I live in a white neighborhood, and everyone followed the rules and was respectful to each other.
Where are these monuments now?
Burned to the ground.
Premium/organic cuts/brands are usually gone first here, surprisingly lots of jews too, idgaf
Also, bread is so easy to make. I understand it's convenient to buy bagged shit or from the bakery, but the ingredients are abundant and will last you a long time.
This. Hit 6 stores in ATL this morning - this was exactly how it was. It's getting better compared to last week's full on freakout.
That's fine. I only need normal things and I make my own bread.
Once you make your own, you can never go back to store bought bread.
What I saw today was limit of 50 people in store and a limit of 1 of each item. Went to 2 stores and found no rice, pasta, bread, canned soup, frozen veg, baked beans, canned fish, eggs, and not much milk or cheese. Lots of fresh veg and fruit though.
germs. wear an n95 mask, keep your distance from others, make a list before going in and don't lollygag
The white people HEB is limiting number of people that enter so there is a line. Wealthy area Whole Foods was fine no line, no wait. Spent $10 more than I wanted to though
they only accept gold and silver now
This. Better stock up on cat food and kibble if you wanna eat
WEAR FULL PPE!
Superspreaders haunt grocery stores, don't feel embarassed
spend fat fatso.
We out of fresh groceries now. Online delivery is suppose to come in the morning. Been waiting 2+ weeks. Lots of canned stuff and some frozen left.
Those were quickie buildings built out of cheap materials to look good for a few weeks for the 1901 worlds fair and then be torn down to build residential real estate.
But yeah, I wish we had beautiful stuff like that in America now. The buildings and the demographics.
Bunch of tards looking akwardly to eachother buying apples and bacon.
I am an independent owner for a bread company my bread sells out 100% every day. Most of products are no longer being made only a few of the core items. Even with that my orders are still cut in half everyday.
Imagine not prepping the first week of February.
It's gotten better here. Still shortages of non perishables. Lots of brands sold out, but alternates available. Haven't seen any chicken in 2 weeks.
The prepping should have started last two weeks of January, in my HUMBLE opinion.
