(1) Because we are not impartial observers floating over humanity as a whole, if "another team" is doing these things and we are not, why on earth would we (nationalists) be rooting for the other team?
(2) "Essentially nat soc" is not nat soc. Yes they have some aspects that are good but they also do a lot of things totally in contrast to these. Nationalism is good, protectionism is good, social credit score totalitarianism for your own subjects is not.
