Hang to air dry by top strap. Masks come out feeling and looking brand new. Have been rotating through 5 masks almost 3 weeks now (recently brought 2 into rotation) Only one starting to show light wear, I'll bin it soon. Don't soak to long and get it from wet to dry as quickly as possible (staples will rust) but be sure as fuck to take the extra time to rinse the bleach out. Light presses while rinsing, don't wring it out.

Why haven’t the doctors stored some masks? There are young people with bad immune systems and who can’t catch it because they do live with or care for old people. The people doing the panic buying or the hoarding aren’t the problem. The problem is our economy with overly complicated and vulnerable supply chains. With all the dependencies and risk associated. The problem is also the state, who doesn’t prepare at all in any serious manner. Why not help people to store some durable goods, why not have masks and high level protection suits in storage in high numbers.
