When the lights go out for good the time for freedom is perfect

Don't wait for it to happen. Start taking small steps yourself today!

24. Psychologists use the term “socialization” to designate the process by which children are trained to think and act as society demands. A person is said to be well socialized if he believes in and obeys the moral code of his society and fits in well as a functioning part of that society. It may seem senseless to say that many leftists are over-socialized, since the leftist is perceived as a rebel. Nevertheless, the position can be defended. Many leftists are not such rebels as they seem.

How good is 'Anti-Tech Revolution' compared to his first book?

Brilliantly written. If you liked his manifesto, you will definitely like the first 90 pages of 'Anti-Tech Revolution'. He goes into more detail how the system is build up, how it manifests itself.

>25. The moral code of our society is so demanding that no one can think, feel and act in a completely moral way. For example, we are not supposed to hate anyone, yet almost everyone hates somebody at some time or other, whether he admits it to himself or not. Some people are so highly socialized that the attempt to think, feel and act morally imposes a severe burden on them. In order to avoid feelings of guilt, they continually have to deceive themselves about their own motives and find moral explanations for feelings and actions that in reality have a nonmoral origin. We use the term “oversocialized” to describe such people.

Are we going to make /TKG/ a real thing? Everything we seen this year confirms everything he has said.

Attached: THAD.jpg (4997x1400, 1.55M)

Definitely. Next week we will be locked up in our own homes here in Germany. People have to wake up.

By the way, are you the same Finland bro, who posted in these threads a couple of months ago? :D

>26. Oversocialization can lead to low self-esteem, a sense of powerlessness, defeatism, guilt, etc. One of the most important means by which our society socializes children is by making them feel ashamed of behavior or speech that is contrary to society’s expectations. If this is overdone, or if a particular child is especially susceptible to such feelings, he ends up feeling ashamed of HIMSELF. Moreover the thought and the behavior of the oversocialized person are more restricted by society’s expectations than are those of the lightly socialized person. The majority of people engage in a significant amount of naughty behavior. They lie, they commit petty thefts, they break traffic laws, they goof off at work, they hate someone, they say spiteful things or they use some underhanded trick to get ahead of the other guy. The oversocialized person can-not do these things, or if he does do them he generates in himself a sense of shame and self-hatred. The over-socialized person cannot even experience, without guilt, thoughts or feelings that are contrary to the accepted morality; he cannot think “unclean” thoughts. And socialization is not just a matter of morality; we are socialized to conform to many norms of behavior that do not fall under the heading of morality. Thus the oversocialized person is kept on a psychological leash and spends his life running on rails that society has laid down for him. In many over-socialized people this results in a sense of constraint and powerlessness that can be a severe hardship. We suggest that oversocialization is among the more serious cruelties that human being inflict on one another.

how do you think the world would have changed if ted had come along just a few years later and had assassinated guys like mark zuckerberg, sergey brin, bezos, etc

Bump.

Attached: man_controller_of_the_universe.jpg (596x446, 86.06K)

the private security industry exists for a reason user

Someone else would take their place.

It will be compromised when the system demands it.

the tech giants were all small personality driven firms once, and not even that long ago. hell, brin tried to get fucking yahoo to buy google for a couple of million bucks

>By the way, are you the same Finland bro,
It's possible, can't recall. I've been Tedposting for a long time. There's lots of Finnflags in Ted-threads though.

Without doubt our greatest poster however is UK-Tedposter.

I wonder how much more material he'll put out before he passes. I'd recommend adding Ship of Fools to the reading list as well, OP

Zuckerberg is relevant how? A month after the DARPA ended its ''Lifelog'' project, he coincidentally launched Facebook? Myspace dominated before Facebook so social media was going to exist regardless of Zucc. Sergey Brin didn't invent search engines, Bezos didn't invent online shopping.

None of the guys made a fundamental impact on society that wouldn't exist without them. They are just figureheads of the system.

Remember Google's "Don't be Evil?"

People at the top don't have so much choice as it seems. If they tried to "do good", they would lose to someone who is willing to "do bad"

Only a German would think a loser is winner

Thank you for the recommendation!
Well he put out Anti-Tech Revolution preemptively, because he took the possibility of him dying beforehand into account

Have you read his work?

16. Words like “self-confidence”, “self-reliance”, “initiative”, “enterprise”, “optimism”, etc., play little role in the liberal and leftist vocabulary. The leftist is anti-individualistic, pro-collectivist. He wants society to solve every one’s problems for them, satisfy everyone’s needs for them, take care of them. He is not the sort of person who has an inner sense of confidence in his ability to solve his own problems and satisfy his own needs. The leftist is antagohistic to the concept of competition because, deep inside, he feels like a loser.

'Technological Slavery' and 'AT-R: Why & How' are more sophisticated and go deeper than ISAIF. More interesting reads in my opinion.

Based

Why would I read the works of a retard?
I do that already when I come here on this site, but his works are probably less entertaining that you shilling his work

>None of the guys made a fundamental impact on society that wouldn't exist without them. They are just figureheads of the system.
Exactly. They were just chosen semi-randomly by economic determinism.
I recommend a video by Ryan Faulk (TheAltHype):

>That faggot got arrested
Only reason he got caught was a traitorous brother. Who here honestly could imagine that their own blood could ever betray them in such a fashion? It's not like David Kaz had anything to gain from it either. He was just totally brainwashed, and Theodore seemingly was not aware exactly how deep the liberal brainwash had gone.

Imagine ratting your older brother out and putting him in prison for life.

the direction of humanity is inevitable
if not them someone else

>not a retard
I'm sorry, was he or wan't he arrested?

Attached: costanza animal cat.jpg (500x375, 31.98K)

and his brother betrayed him because of his wife TT

he actually talks about a virus destabilizing the World Technological System

Have any recent letters been published?

Could corona actually just be the 'System' using a bioweapon to enact even more control?

>Who here honestly could imagine that their own blood could ever betray them in such a fashion?
Hasn't been any case of people denouncing their own family members before he got arrested
>Imagine ratting your older brother out and putting him in prison for life
Imagine saying that he was smart when he get fucked from someone who is really close to you and he didn't even thought about it
>retard?
Yes a retard

What are some good locations in Europe to go off the grid? I know a few hippies on the balkans who achieved it but here it's so densely populated that authorities will cause problems guaranteed.

Attached: file.png (450x338, 18.79K)

>Without doubt our greatest poster however is UK-Tedposter.
Is he still here? I haven't seen him in a while?

Usually I don't give advice to jews, but I would get out of that country if I were you
But I would also kill myself if I were you, so I don't know

Let's assume he was a retard. You have not addressed any of his arguments. Go on: how is technology going to make our life better in the long run?

Attached: Ted12.jpg (400x267, 131.93K)

How many anprims are actually working to move away and live a less technological life?

You're all showing your power level. You're gonna get Lemp'd.

based polack proud of my bro

Ted went far, but not far enough.

youtube.com/watch?v=CCd6qisIFKo

Attached: Pentti_Linkola_2.jpg (2278x2782, 3.72M)

Ted managed to set the stage. So, what are we going to do about it now?

Damn, he's based

>You have not addressed any of his arguments
I don't even know his arguments.
But if his arguments involve concepts like "trust" and things we should "be careful about".
Those are arguments would end up be castrated or half-assed since he was not good at making distinctions of who to "trust" and who you should "be careful about"

Attached: costanza doubt.png (191x201, 79.98K)

It's tough. The better a place is climate wise for off-grid, the more crowded it tends to be.

Russia or Finland is probably ideal desu. Homeschooling legal in both, which is important if one wants kids.

I can't now recall seeing him in a short while, but I'm sure he is still here spreading the gospel.

>I don't even know his arguments.
You are a retard youself, aren't you? You have some reading to do.

>32. The problems of the leftist are indicative of the problems of our society as a whole. Low self-esteem, depressive tendencies and defeatism are not restricted to the left. Though they are especially noticeable in the left, they are widespread in our society. And today’s society tries to socialize us to a greater extent than any previous society. We are even told by experts how to eat, how to exercise, how to make love, how to raise our kids and so forth.

Eventually he'll find us, or we'll find him. It's just a matter of time

If someone before us didn't decide to show their power level, we wouldn't have seen the light. I've no bad intentions and I'll never get caught doing bad stuff. My plan is to be a humble potato farmer and I will absolutely not give a fuck if someone disagrees with my Tedposting.

The system is going to go down without any help from any of us. Coronavirus is perfect example: Nature is able to deal with unsustainable structures without us. I expect something more potent than the COVID-19 to ravage Earth in 20-30 years. Perhaps by a state actor in competition against another state actor.

Corona Virus was just a warning. Chances are, the system is going to be strengthened because of it. If we will work hard, maybe we could have a big enough impact when another virus will ravage the earth in the next decade or two

>You have some reading to do
No, I don't
You are telling me that I should be spending my time reading about someone who was not able to understand the concept of trust.
He couldn't understand this concept properly by trusting someone who should not be trusted.
Now if someone who is unable to understand a concept tells that you should listen to him on that same concept, would you do it?

Attached: nettuno.jpg (432x768, 53.2K)

Attached: ETF0D51WsAY81ok.jpg (1560x716, 69.22K)

>Chances are, the system is going to be strengthened
It is possible that 1-2 years after the thing is over, public officials and corporations will be more concerned stability versus efficiency. But I suspect this is going to be a temporary phenomenon. Normalfags have really short memory and its possible they are going to start buying the narrative ''such things happen at most once in 100 years, can't come soon again!''.

Permanent structural changes that give antifragility to systems is possible, no denying that. With state actors at least. Corporations are in constant competition with one another and they can not afford prioritizing ''stability'' in the same way. They always go for cost-cutting efficiency, even if it means systemic fragility.

Give me a tl'dr.

Nature good, capitalism bad?

Attached: 1232234545.jpg (1200x833, 118.41K)

his family snitched him out. he evaded law professionals. not a retard but a sub 60 iq nigger such as yourself would never recognize intelligence.

>He didn't trust his brother, what a retard.
So you mean to tell me you don't trust anyone? Sounds like a sad life.

Also, let's assume you understand the concept of trust. Do you think the system throw you under the bus when it is necessary, or will the system spare you, because of mutual trust?

Ted was the OG Corona user

Attached: Screenshot_20200317-203406.png (1440x2880, 1.54M)

Highly HIGHLY recommend anons iit read ''Technological Society'' and ''Propaganda: The Formation of Men's Attitudes'' by Jacques Ellul. If you thought Ted was eye-opening, just wait till you read Ellul.
You will find that many of Ted's ideas originate directly from these two books, and Ellul goes into greater depth on the matter of technique and it's relation to Man that Ted did. Absolutely NOT trying to shit on Ted's body of work, but Ellul takes it to a whole new level; ISAIF will really seem like a well-written pamphlet once you have read these two works.

If you can't be bothered to read because of muh attention span, at least listen to this woman's explanation of Ellul's the Technological Society, she really summarizes it quite well in a 6 part description.

Imagine having to explain that one should be able to trust in one's brother.

Your life depends on reading ISAIF. It's going to give you vision that normalfags won't have one the day of the collapse. It's a brief read. Only the curious will make it.

Rise of systems is inevitable
Because of the industrial revolution the current system has become so big, that it will destroy humanity as we know it, if allowed to continue.
By destroying the current system, another big enough system to destroy humanity is unlikely to develop, because easy accessable resources have all been exhausted. You would need easy accessable resources to jump start such a system
