I'm telling you what the law is. I think when a felon is rehabilitated, he/she should be able to buy a gun. The purpose of the 2nd Amendment isn't first and foremost public safety. It's to make the sure the people are armed against tyrannical government, such as a government using a pretext like plague to shut down weapons sales, suspend the writ of habeas corpus, and ban/regulate travel.
