My cousin is a shift manager at the largest hospital in San Francisco. She says that NOTHING IS HAPPENING. The staff is freaking out and there are a lot of people coming in with regular flu symptoms who are fine and they just send home. No sign of an epidemic, no rush of patients needing ventilators, no mass of deaths. Today she said was "more normal than usual for a Saturday" which doesn't make sense since we are supposed to be in the middle of a crisis.
