China's military isn't a bunch of sand niggers hiding in caves or civilian populations. The US Navy alone could drop China to its knees. Don't pretend Taiwan, SK, Japan, and India wouldn't throw in its own ground troops to rid Asia of the CCP.

Most of those soldiers China has in the field are in roles more equivocal to conscripts in other countries. They are lightly trained and perform very menial tasks. That said, in a real war, the turn around time for training those guys up to combat readiness would be far less than your average joe.
Their navy is on the whole close to a "brown water" one as well - mostly smaller craft. This is changing though.
They also lack other things which are essential for power projection vis a vis airlifting and shipping men and supplies.
I would be confident in the US anywhere outside of China itself. They do have extremely robust coastal defense systems. That's a problem in of itself for the US though, it used to be that no one could stand up to us even in the most favorable circumstances and the gap will only get more narrow.
