I had a moderate interest in global events in high school. I couldn't figure out why we felt the need to blow Libya and Syria into oblivion and ended up taking to the web to find answers. Eventually that lead me here.

I've been using Yas Forums since 2007. At first Yas Forums, then other boards mostly Yas Forums and /sp/.
First time I remember visiting Yas Forums was way back when it was an experimental board, I think just before Obama got elected, and it was mostly radical left with lots of communism and anarchism threads. Then it disappeared because it was a dead board then it came back at some point, obamas second term? Then I remember it became really popular in the run up to the 2016 election. Yas Forums was complete fucking garbage by this point so I think me and a lot of other people migrated our shit posting to here.
At first it was fun but then storm front started flodding pol with Nat soc propoganda and it really went down hill rapidly as a lot of kids really drank the cool aid on that bullshit. And it's only now slowly getting back to what it was.
