So much I could say about Australia and the people, lived there for a year it was an incredible time and something pivotal for me at that time of my life.
Australia is a country as young as America, with more potential and less stress and focus put on it that I'd say culturally hasn't fully realised itself yet but hasn't forgotten it's roots and has carried anglo values into a new world and more importantly guarded them (far better than the Americans)
I think the world will live to see things come out of Australia that will shock everyone in terms of global significance, there are strong family values still alive and well and a pluck, determination and sense of community that we have lost.

How many days? If I were you I would organise a bike on arrival and buy a public transport card straight away. Take a day or two to just ride around on your bike/taking it on the train to different places, getting used to the comfy lifestyle of being able to cruise around with absolute autonomy, having right of way over cars and the like. If you like Banksy there’s a museum with his works. Check out the Van Gogh museum, FOAM photography exhibition, Rijksmusem, etc... Definitely make it out into the outer parts where there are flower fields and windmills. Bars and clubs are a way to meet Dutch girls, they’re usually really sweet and down to earth, and beautiful. Coffee shops are super touristy but fun if you’re into that. Try some 2c-b while you’re there, it’s great and rare outside the Netherlands. Amsterdam is a terrific city but much more international, if you like the vibe of Amsterdam, you’ll love Utrecht. It’s like a prettier, cosier Amsterdam that’s more Dutch student focused.
