>Can't even get the Union Flag correct...
Flattten the curve came from scientist that predicted this year's agom
Scotland had their independence already?
You should put simple shapes on your flag. It's your own fault.
imagine calling your island community a "union"
its amazing that such a small population can so ineffectively govern itself
For me, it's tanking the economy to save the boomers.
America easily, completing sabotaging the entire nation over a virus that isnt even as deadly as the flu. Even if we beat corona what happens if it comes back next or becomes a yearly thing? Going to shut shit down and quarantine once a year?
Killing as many boomers as possible.
AKA Britain's decision is the right choice.
Old rich boomers control the government and corporations, hope corona chan gets them all
Herd Immunity is just open genocide that would/will result in millions dead.
But what is "flatten the curve?" it sounds like the same idea.
I don’t like this half assed approach we are engaging in. It’s either all or nothing. What we are doing is just delaying the inevitable. Making it as painful as possible.
And on another note I don’t believe this thing infects on a bell curve. This ain’t a flu season.
Finally someone who isn't falling for the memes.
That's literally the original union jack from the 'acts of union', retard
>UK: Lets infect our populace based on the wrong study entirely
>US: Lets take precautions to mitigate the full blow of this pandemic like reasonable people.
I dont know, you tell me.
Digits crew coming through this thread like gangbusters with the truth.
Whoever isn't using chloroquine at this moment.
flatten the curve is just genocide over a longer period of time while also killing the economy and causing mass panic
Where is the Chinese flag with the death camps?
That's bullshit. Everyone is downplaying the pandemic irresponsibly. People need to be way more afraid than they are.
both are pretty dumb
Irrelevant flag for centuries, retard. That's like us using this one for you.
It's totally beyond containment in the USA... pretty much everywhere else also. All closing everything did was make shit worse.
The term 'union' refers to the union of the English and Scotish monarchies in the early 1700's. The union flag is the Scotish and English combined. The St Patrick cross was added when Ireland was absorbed into the UK.
The UK is going to get all of their cases in a relatively short stress, and the NHS will collapse under the stress. The U.S knows that in time, a ton of us will get the virus, but want to spread it out enough to not overburden the medical system.
JUST SPREAD YOUR POZ LOAD OVER ME BRO
Bongland has back tracked on herd immunity and is now team flatten the curve
We accepted that loads of people will ultimately die from this and were willing to get it over and done with until blue check twitter started crying and decided we should all live in onions green for a year instead.
Herd immunity is the smart strat.
>Old people are drains on society
>Boomers can't even figure out how to use a credit card
>Boomers ruined the earth, fuck over everyone else
>Boomers expect millenials to bail them out... AGAIN
UK has the oldest continuous constitution and government in Europe along with San Marino and Vatican City, probably one of the oldest in the world donor is pretty stable tbqh
>already HAPPENINGS
>Ron Paul don't believe in HAPPENINGS
Dammit Ron Paul, what's point of being the HAPPENINGS man?
>>Boomers can't even figure out how to use a credit card
Oh no, they figured that one out pretty well.
So when is this shit going to end? Because it won’t last a month without people getting pissed off about not getting paid.
This isn't an attempt to eradicate the disease. It's an attempt to slow it down. Keep the hospitals from being totally overwhelmed. Manufacture and stockpile crucial supplies. Less people get it, less strain across the entire system, less death.
It's never going to end user, it's a permanent virus now.
>Who had the dumber strategy?
China
>create deadly virus in lab
>infect rebellious population with it
>reserve "treatment" for compliant citizens
>"treatment" doesn't work
>igotthis.jpg
>quarantine entire province
>mass cremations and graves
>still doesn't work
>virus leaves country
>entire world madder than shit
>send "doctors" with "medical help" to spy on other countries, see if they figured out the cure
>mammamia.jpg
>economy facing ruin
>"Uh guys? We're all better! Look, our people are returning to work! Open for business! China leads the way!"
>now you're infecting all the citizens who the virus managed to bypass
>"Fucking earth! Why are you re-infecting China?!"
To be continued or concluded...
What if it doesn't end? We can't have the world shut down forever, can we?
The curve doesn't lie faggots.
Once we're on the other side of the peak. Everyone under 40 is getting infected so half of us will be immune to the inevitable second wave.
If infections double every day then an infected gook who brought it over 20 days ago is just as dangerous as a million infected gooks who arrived yesterday.
gotta do that contact tracing.
hard to believe that italy and uk both got their first cases on the same day.
Its not genocide, thats killing an entire genepool such as Asias, Jews, or Europeans. Senicide or geronticide is the term you're looking for, which is the abandonment to death, suicide, or killing of the elderly.
Those are the same strategy but with different starting points
Who cares?
#Holohoax
That's actually missing Ireland, not Scotland.
MOO.
MOO.
MOO.
Heard immunity is the way to go. Lowers medical costs
shits over in a month
no damage to the economy
Housing & jobs open up
Next year, flu season isnt bad cause the week already died.
>genocide
You're a fucking pissling quiddle dist moronic finna gay
Not doing anything and closing down everything are both retarded strategies, doing calculated surgical quarantines and shutting down travel to cut the problem by the root was the way to go but that's too late for most countries.
Depends on how many people catch it the first wave and wether or not we can get reinfected or if it mutates.
Think again fuckwitts
archive.is
The difference is that "flatten the curve" is just an incomplete way to describe a real containment strategy, which has the benefit of being easy for average mutts to understand and follow directions. Herd immunity on the other hand is just insane.
Between the two, herd immunity is objectively a dumber strategy.
>(((leaked))) gov't report
When are you dumb motherfuckers ever going to learn?
>What if it doesn't end? We can't have the world shut down forever, can we?
Virus can't take heat. Noticeably lower cases and mortality in equatorial countries and Australia.
"Herd immunity" does not work that way.
"Herd immunity" means you infect 80% of your population, let half of them die, and then hope that the other half are immune to protect the 20% of your population that didn't get it. It's just straight up genocide.
No, it's genocide. The idea that only the old die from this is retarded. The sample sizes we have are entire countries and the death rates are between 40% and 65% so far. Sure, the weak elderly are picked off first and the final numbers will be lower than the initial burst of corpses but in sample sizes this large you're literally consigning millions of healthy young people to die. That is genocide, especially since these regions are national regions and the homelands of national ethnicities.
Flatten the curve is basically saying to use social distancing and other techniques to slow the rate of growth of the virus. Even if the virus is around for a longer period of time, if the number of people with the virus at any given time is kept less than the capacity of our healthcare system, we can significantly reduce the number of deaths.
Flattening the curve reduces the load on the nation's healthcare systems and buys time to find treatments, vaccines or to further isolate vulnerable age groups.
Herd immunity, while appearing like a good idea on paper, takes a massive toll on the nation's healthcare system, does nothing to save people in vulnerable age groups and does nothing to help find a treatment or vaccine - however - it means the country will likely be done with the entire thing sooner, which in the long run will mean the nation can recover faster.
Just my two cents.
It will eventually either burn out, mutate to be less severe, or we'll build up an effective resistance. Just gotta see if society lives to see the end.
I'm pretty apathetic about the prospect of a mass die-off anyway.
Being something of a neo-Malthusian, I believed such an event to be necessary and ultimately inevitable.
So quarantine the vulnerable and let rip.
The under 30s are near immune.
Burgers and gooks are cowards and showed they're unfit to lead.
You need to pass the torch back to a real country and add some ventilators while you're at it.
Aye, we've been overdue for a plague or major war for some time now. It's just that I would prefer that it had happened at a later date, so my son wouldn't be at risk (age 5), but it is what it is, I suppose.
Also, fuck Boomers.
Im thinking this too. They are also the ones to not give two shits about this. Hooe corona chan gets em all and do the world a favor
>Who had the dumber strategy?
UR MOM
