When I got introuble with cops..twice.. Stuff that would have been felonies easily.. I got them both expunged off my record, first one it involved the school district and it took a year - second time it only took a week and a half..

Most recently when cops were at my place, the cop found a shotgun shell in my pocket. Got handcuffed but the Cop was a bro and acted like it wasnt anything (usually they would get very violent if they found a bullet or shell on a person i am assuming)

Same, whenever I went to "speech therapy" they'd give the shots and slap on the headphones. They did let me draw while listening but I don't remember speech therapy at all, just that I hated going because of the shots. They always said I was so tough or some shit and it became like a pride thing for me to not be bothered by the shots. I do remember one time I got sick after the shot while listening to the headphones and asked to stop for the day, which they obliged. They also setup a camera to record my dissecting a frog, later a sheep brain and eyeballs. Had some guy call me every few months and ask how I was doing, sent me MIT books and worksheets. Eventually I got really depressed (was growing up in poverty, mom was extremely abusive) and I just told him I didn't give a shit anymore, to stop calling and I wasn't going to participate anymore. He was extremely pissed, cursed at me which I wasn't expecting, said I was going to do nothing but "dig ditches" for the rest of my life. I hung up on him and went back to cleaning the barn.

Anyone ever have them out the headphones on you and blare a high-pitch sound into your ears, then sit you in front of a computer with a black screen? Every few seconds a one or two would appear on the screen and you were supposed to click for a 1, but not a 2. We didn't have gate.
We had "Children of the 90's" Program.
I remember those shapes and those headphones. It was a high pitch sound in your ears. Also those cards, I remember the guessing thing, also we had to pick three cards then in a few days we were asked do we remember them.

In secondary school then me and a few friends who also shared a the same primary school had another test done one us. There was a table of random items, a fan, a box, a cup of water and a cookie cutter ect. Then two weeks later we were called out of class then asks what were the items.

the rest of my childhood memories are pretty fucking distinct but i don't remember a single thing from this program, except a presentation i did in the 5th grade (outside of regular school hours? it was in the evening. parents were there) on the terracotta army

I was in the program that preceded GATE. Don't remember a damn thing except the dark rooms and constantly taking tests. After a few years I started deliberately giving the wrong answers to get out, and they finally took me out of the program. And I meet most of the criteria listed in OP.

This is probably true. Every kid I know that was in gate didn't amount to shit. Some went to college but didnt become doctors, engineers, etc. Just a bunch of averge joes/hoes and degenerate failures(me). Not saying other gate kids didn't make out great but I don't know any personally.
