Been sick for three weeks with symptoms of cold, flu, and pneumonia. Been to urgent care twice, tested negative for flu. Still can't get a referral for testing because the Seattle area is so short on tests, high-risk patients are being prioritized.

And a lot of people are sick at home and not being tested until it becomes more severe and have to go to the hospital.

My wife is an rn she is taking care of 2 patients with it. The one is fine and about to go home the other is in icu. The thing about this case is the girl also tested positive for other virus which is common if people travel. The doctor believes its the influenza A that caused her condition and have been treating her as such. The cdc test for corona after she was stabilized. My wife has gotten to know both patients and their families and they are legit however they both are going to live.
