Do you guys think now is the time to buy stocks or will the market bottom out even more?

I think now is the time to buy stinks.

silver down about 20 percent. nice time to buy.

They're just going to hammer it at will with more announcements of restrictions and whatever else chink flu related.

It will crash way harder as the number of cases and deaths sky rocket. Then martial law will be declared and you will start to notice something very strange: While the (((News))) organizations claim soldiers and dying from the virus, there are always plenty of soldiers near your community to make you obey the latest decry. Something is rotten all over the world and it's not the virus. This is a ramp up for mass restrictions on rights for the common man.

Not sure. I’m not one of the (((chosen))) people, so i don’t know what the market will be doing in a months time.

It's been crashing every monday

Monday the Dow is gonna get fucked

One more week. Monday is going to a shit show. I sold everything on Friday. Be patient.

Its going down another 30% as jobs reports, corporate earnings, and gdp is released

Be a bull if you want to gamble. Bears are making bank right now.

This. Earnings reports an unemployment reports will tank markets further in April

Oil war between Saudi Arabia and Russia isn't over and the bat soup gook nigger virus hasn't reached maximum damage at all yet.

Eh not so much there is too much volatility. Up and down 2000 points daily hurts the earnings

Buy a little. Each time the market fall, buy a little more.

>selling on friday
>not selling on Thursday during the bump
Does it suck being retarded?

It will bounce if they pass stimulus

Trend is downhill, so good luck

As of last week, the guy at my local coin shop wanted $25 for an Eagle despite the low market price. I went and bought ammo instead.

Going by 2001 and 2008 recessions it'll probably bottom out after 15 months with a big dead cat bounce in-between.

What’s some good stocks to buy Monday? Oil?

dollar cost average over the next 4 months

Yea they are charging insane premiums because the us mint sold out of them

dow is going to 8k.

Do you think the market hasn't anticipated this, if so many are saying the same thing?

>olin
>vista outdoor
>oasis petroleum

This is the way to do it. It’s like roulette. If you go black and it doesn’t hit, double your bet on the next spin. Le epic financial knowledge meme requirement is untrue for 99.9% or investors who will do just fine if they keep their heads, buy high quality stocks when they’re priced low, and hold them.

Markets can’t anticipate it you dumb nigger. It could rise to a million. No one fucking know yet how high it will go

Except most dealers are charging spot with a 100% premium, if you can find any.

wait until the end of Q2 for true bottom.

Yea but if you are buying at 20k and it drops to 10k in May then you lost 50 percent

Fuck you

Not bad advice if you are investing surplus money. If you put your survival money in there you are taking on too much risk

Agreed. I think this week will be the last week of precipitious declines. But expect the market to fall more than 25% this week.. if not more.

Are you autistic? You get this angry at the slightest question?
You, a member of the market, are anticipating this. I'm saying that the worst might already be priced in.
If you think markets are going to tank further, did you put your money where your mouth is and enter short positions?

I wouldn't buy anything rn.
If you think, this drop over the past 4 weeks was big, get ready for the biggest nuclear financial fistfuck ever.

i'd wait till monday and watch how the market developes, I'm constantly watching Bitcoin at the moment, I really find it interesting afer the panicdrop it seems to stay quite stable at the moment.

I think the job #’s that are getting released next Thursday are going to crater the market

You forgot Trump is president. Will not happen in USA

Trump should just set it to 0 by executive order, done.

If you're trying to time the market, I have no advice for you, other than don't try to time the market. If you're investing with a long time horizon (years, not months), yes, absolutely you should be buying stocks. But that was also true last month, and it will be true next month.

It's guaranteed to go below 15k. Until US recovers it will not go back up and US expect 18 months quarantine, with more worrying news by the day.

Its not how much it drops, its how much it will be worth in 5 years.

true, you could have made a lot more money buying at 10k than at 20k, but if you buy some at both and it goes to 40k you would still be happy then.

Of course this assumes that you are a lousy investor and that you don't need the money you are investing in the next four to six years.

Think about the reasons why casinos don't ban playing like that.

are you under the impression that things are improving? my bet is on further decline in the coming weeks, maybe months.

By dow at 12k

Premium here is about 3.5 USD which also covers storage dont exaggerate.

not yet. dont try and catch a falling knife, wait until it hits the ground

Things are happening at 6x the speed in markets these days mexanon.

Until Americans get $1200 direct deposited into their accounts I would guess there will be 500-1000 daily point losses during the next few weeks.

Markets are very efficient, but lots of irrational people can suddenly do unpredictable things.

>Do you guys think now is the time to buy stocks or will the market bottom out even more?
that is the dumbest way to think about the stock market.
of course it isn't time to buy the stock market.
you buy into the stock market when the virus is gone and the market is going up. there will be plenty of gains to be had, never try and dip buy a declining market, you will get destroyed.

Yeah, never buy into weakness.
You don't know how low its going.
20% off could mean lost 50% next week.

The west is terminal. All of it.

I think we will see a large dead cat bounce next week or week after ~3 or 4 k on dow. Then back to 15000. Then hover before back up slowly.

That strategy works if you stop playing as soon as you gain more than a preset level and have infinite money, but only on a fair roulette. Casinos don't use fair roulettes: 0 (and sometimes 00) is a loss for any almost-50% bet, and there's a rake.

Yeah I’m aware. But only a clairvoyant knows for sure what the market will do in the short term. But what you do know is that it is very, very likely that in the long term the Dow’s value will go up, and solid stocks along with it. I’m talking about investing for building your future decades from now, early retirement, all that Jazz. I’m not talking about the Yas Forums day trading shit

Doomer like you will never make it.

You cant know when it's the bottom. Could be that monday a vaccine is released and the markets shoot up. So it makes sense to dollar cost average and continue buying now.

Yea but you don’t know that it will go back up to 25k ever again for the next 5 years. Trump will be out of office etc

>buy and hold platitudes
Each time you buy you’re timing the market whether you want to or not.

yes.

Yes. you should buy now into the stock market just in time.before you are laid off for 6 months

Stocks have not nearly hit 2008-2009 levels, which is where they are supposed to go and further south with this epidemic-caused recession in an allready over-inflated stock market.

All those money printers cannot save the hard crash coming. Airlines going under, aircraft-producers going under, hospitality chains going under, energy-commidity producers getting wrecked (oil, uranium, coal) due to oil war in the middle of this.
There's about a trillion dollars worth of fracking that's gonna go belly-up in the US alone

>in the short term
Everyone can see what the market is doing shortterm (daytrading is immediate term, it's different), it's medium term and longer that is the realm of divination.

This.

It will bounce with the stimulus. But another huge factor is oil. No body knows what the fuck will happen there

What happens when it hits 0

Money isn't worth anything anymore at that point.

I'm keeping all my money in. Gonna ride this out.

It's going to keep crashing, use your money to buy actual things you need to survive in your house for a few months.

>memeflag
>tells you to not try and double tour money
Yep this ones going in my good goy compilation

I’m buying into the oilfield service companies at present. Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker and Weatherford are are down big time. After the crisis they will be inundated with a back log of work and their share prices will soar.

You have not the slightest clue whats coming your way.
I cant help you people..

stimulus is already priced in, it can only hurt since it does not sound as it will be as good as projected.

I am looking to get back into the market with up to 1/3rd of my liquid (cash and 401k) the rest I will keep in cash and that will hurt in a few years but it will give me some peace of mind.

That said, I am not buying shit this week. Come talk to me in April

what would you recommend to do?

>everyone buying everything
>bad earnings report
>investors know unemployment is due to coronachan
I mean I don't want to downplay these things and I think they should honestly just shut down the markets but it might not be so cataclysmic.
