Because death feels something like drowning but very pleasant and you forget at the same time or instantly if you all of your brain is damaged/destroyed. I suffered a stroke yesterday but healed it when I had it I suddenly forgot the most recent thing and I couldn't remember when I tried to remember instead I felt a very pleasant filling like I'm "spilling out" and I felt myself starting to lose conscious but instead I decided to pull myself away/ignore it, took a few breaths and it fixed itself.

After this experience I can actually think better than before.
