Yes. They put me through tests in elementary school I was an iq of 153. Between the meds, special education therapy and social conditioning ECT they managed to get it down to 92 by the time I graduated highschool according to my former therapist. You know what I remember about gifted education? They made me great Great Expectations and The Last Mohican in the 4th grade at it was miserable. We did algebra, and I sucked at it.

We also did chemistry (Bohr Electron ORbitals) that I didn't see again until Junior year of high school.

I remember this test very vaguely, was in gifted program in kindergarten somehow in my birth state, had to be retested into it in 3rd grade, but it was weird because it just for the class I was in, and no other kid in my class got in, just me getting retested with the rest of the class.

Moved to a different state in 5th grade, that state had a different gifted program, way different type of test and gifted class setup, was pretty normal. Can't remember what the gifted program was like before the move out of state.
