I'm a trans individual who has been on Yas Forums for years. I've yet to see any definitive proof that anything which is largely accepted by the trans community is bad for them, and I'm here to address these issues.
Let's get a hot topic out of the way first: gender reassignment surgery is as necessary for individuals experiencing severe gender dysphoria as chemo would be for a cancer patient. Yes, some people still unfortunately kill themselves. But, every single person who undergoes surgery who doesnt is a person whose life is saved. It is not cosmetic, it is life saving.
Secondly, estrogen is not bad for your mind or body in any way as an assigned-at-birth male. There is zero scientific evidence that it is. This is baseless and only serves to scare people away from taking the medicine they need
Third: it can be "too late to change". I am 22 and I only began hrt 5 years ago. Within two years I was visually passing and now my voice sounds indistinguishable from any other woman's.
Finally, that it is bad for children to transition. Most children have no issue with this and think it's cool to know a trans individual. And giving children estrogen does in fact make it easier on them psychologically to go through their lives as a woman. There is zero evidence that any child has experienced adverse effects growing up compared to non-trans children.
I will talk to anyone about any of these things. I'm just sick of seeing baseless bullshit spewed about us on this board. Seeing that stuff early on in my transition made me think about some things I never want to think about again. And anyone who posts pictures of girls who are having trouble passing is participating in psychological abuse.
Until the time comes that you can reprogram your dna without horrific consequences, it's just going to remain a mental state that traumatises enough people for them to take their own lives after mutilating their bodies did not free them from their pain but found new pain

I'm pretty sure you're trolling given the last sentence of your post, but I'll bite.
My brother is a psychiatrist. His colleagues at his clinic are mostly extremely skeptical of patients who come in and claim they are trans. Here is what he says about trans:
1) In his expert opinion, the vast majority of people claiming to be trans are simply mentally ill and in times past they would have been the same people who claim that they were abducted by aliens, or being monitored by the CIA/FBI/etc, or that they are Jesus. He says that all these kinds of behaviors have the same underlying mental illness, and the frequency of the specific type of behavior (claiming alien abduction, or claiming FBI persecution, claiming to be Jesus, or claiming being a tranny) correlates extremely strongly with whatever is in fashion at the time. 2) He has worked with people with paranoid delusions for about 12 years, and he is seeing far fewer people claiming imaginary persecutions, and more claiming to be trans. 3) He says that what drives these individuals to cling to these delusions is that they believe themselves to be unique or special, but are seriously depressed that nobody seems to notice them or treat them the way they think they deserve for being special.

I know you're baiting, but just to make an argument to anyone interested in btfo'ing pro trans people: First, we have to establish that trans is a metal disorder, gender dysphoria. Disregard any appeals to political psychology authorities, and think critically. Even a pro trans person would say "Yes, I wish I was born in a female's body", and if being born in the wrong body isn't a disorder, I don't know what is. This isn't even getting into that fact that EVERY other form of dysphoria is catagorized as a mental disorder. Now that we've established that trans is indisputably a mental disorder, to which no logical counter argument exists, we can make the point that encouraging mentally ill people to submit to their delusions is INCREDIBLY immoral, and promoting a mental disorder as a culture is clear evil. This is all without addressing the fact that a notable amount of trannies are actually autogynophiles who have been brainwashed (again, this is why it is morally wrong to uphold a mental disorder as a virtue), and worse, depressed or blackpilled people desperate for some magical answer to their issues (Maybe I hate being alive because I was supposed to be a girl?) Think about any other dysphoria based disorder. I myself have psychosis, where I get visual hallucinations if I'm sufficiently riled up. No one who actually gave a shit about me would encourage me with that, like "Hey man, if you think there's something in the shadows staring at you, that's your truth :)". Where is my fucking psychosis flag and marches? They don't exist, because that would be retarded to make that part of my identity. Think about it. Anorexia is dysphoria, they truly believe they need to lose weight. It would be UTTERLY UNTHINKABLE to encourage them, or worse, put it on a pedestal. I'm confused on transgender and what that means. Looking up the definitions what does gender or identity have to do with sex? You can't change your sex based on gender/identity. Your identity is you and you do whatever you want in this world. Attaching worldly material things seems dumb. By definition you are born with a working reproductive organ. Working penises and vaginas define male/female. Besides the weird 1% you are born with one or the other and its in your best interest to accept you have a dick, curly hair etc and love yourself.
