Honestly you people laugh at brapper hoarders, but you really dont have enough brappers yourselves. The average person sniffs 3 braps per day. If you have a family of 4, that's 84 braps a week. Over 300 a month. brappers will be worth their weight in gold in a few months, because everyone needs it.

The internet may go “down”, as in you can’t stream 1080p Netflix or pornhub, but as long as you have power, you can build networks.
Using yagi antennas, you don’t even need wires. You can have random devices with SIM cards reporting measurements or readings to satellites and back. AWS even offers Satellites as a service now.
All you need is a NAS with 5 hard drives. A NAS is just any computer that is used for storage. You can buy a symbology NAS or build one out of a raspberry pi. You could use a 2TB external hard drive and a raspi + open source VPN to make remote backups of anything. You can build cloud infra on an old laptop. You can make routers out of Samsung tablets.
The important thing is the information. So download Wikipedia, all the htmls of your favorite Yas Forums threads and any necessary information on how to garden, how to service generators, anything, and put it in a NAS with 4 hard drives set up in RAID 6. Have a spare 5th Drive, and have a 4TB external hard drive hooked up to a raspberry pi as backups. Use your routers WiFi to access this. Use a Yagi antenna to allow wireless access to your buddies house on the other side of the neighborhood. Have them google “what is my IP” and write it down, you can use this to determine how “down” the internet it. If you can’t ping Swedish websites, but you can ping your buddies house, you can determine that there’s some disconnect between here and Sweden. Set up VPNs in free AWS EC2 instances in different regions to avoid having to use a shitty service like NordVPN.
