I made the CGI alien over 2 days on the weekend that this happening took place. I modeled it in Maya then took it to Zbrush for sculpting textures and Mudbox for a quick brushover. Both the picture you see in OP's post are mine, I rotated its head to the right slightly to make it seem different. I inserted a sun image and added distortion to mix things up. The skybox (background) is on a dome shape and I rotated the camera to get a different angle too.

There was no alien. It was pushed as a cover because some anons found plane schematics they weren't supposed to and "they" didn't want it gaining any traction.

I went by what people described it as, and used my imagination to fill the rest. One thing I remember vaguely is that people said it had slight whites of its eyes that made it very unsettling. I added that in the texture.
