It's not that we can't but rather won't repair roads. It hasn't been economically feasible to invest that much when they still work well enough. As for bridges, we just build new ones instead of repairing the old ones. Its typically cheaper over time, and safer. Mobilized for real competition with China, we'll be building new manufacturing plants using cutting edge fabrication engineering that will be able to turn out superior products while providing nationalized jobs in America.
