I have always wondered, is death instant with this? I am aware of the whole "at that speed it is like hitting concrete" but then my question would be "does hitting concrete hit kill you instantly. And when I say instantly I mean instantly, as in, no time for your brain to process the pain/death. e.g. I can imagine that if I lang legs first, I am going to have a (albeit very brief) ungodly amount of pain. Also I imagine there are cases where people jump, but then land in such a way that their fall was broken enough to keep the brainstem intact, but snapped everything else in twine.
