Pick a team: switching sides fast

Could anons help me update this chart?

pls read:

I'm trying to keep track of every country/gov official position on Corona and the measures they've put in place to contain (or accellerate spread) of Coronavirus.
My country had to pick a side, and we did, we're sacrificing our economy in the hope to slow the spread as down as we can, what's your country doing?

I personally am happy to be lockdown team leader, the gov was sensible, the message is; we want to survive, whatever the economic cost.

I did set those 'rules', travel bans and border restrictions may vary too wide depending on the country geography etc., debate is v. welcome

> Team Lockdown (red) : severe limitations are enforced on the population, you can go out only for a good reason, such as buying food, meds and cigs. It is red because all the measures are taken to stop and contain the spread of the virus.

> Team Sparta (green) : you can still go out, at the cafe and gather. It is coloured green since the virus has a green light to propagate, it's called Sparta because the propagation is by design.

> Team Fence (orange) : It lays some way in between the two above, the government didn't take a clear stance, or different areas in the same countries may enforce different rules, it's called 'fence' because the govs who belong to this team are still on the fence, it's orange because the virus can still jump the fence and propagate.

How to find out which team you are: ideally there should be an official stance from your gov, such as China and then Italy did for the lockdown, UK for the herd immunity and US for business as usual.

The underlying implication for the teams are: reds decide to save the population and sacrifice the economy, sparta the other way around and fence somewhere in the middle.

Still rooting for team Sparta.

Embrace the tractor. Embrace the fields.

tbf the agricolture sector wasn't shut down here

We're team fence though

This

team sparta is unfortunate, the spartans would probably enforce strict quarantine and kill off sick and old

damn those are some BIG lakes

>team sparta is unfortunate, the spartans would probably enforce strict quarantine and kill off sick and old
ok, but how would spartans keep alive the food supply?

We're going team red soon, the news say that a total country wide lockdown is imminent.

>Taiwan colored red
>not labelled as Taiwan

Taiwan is the same team as Australia and Japan.

haha, i messed up resizing the map, beside: have you any state in lockdown as for now? do you think it will be enforced federally or statewise?

matter of time and actually number of infecteds. Sparta will first go fence, fence maybe will go lockdown or not

Is Iran really green? They have a lot of kills, they should be at maximum lockdown.

Why do you have Communist China taking over Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan?

don't be scare onions del interior

Why has China incurred into Central Asia

>what did he mean by this
Alberto will declare mandatory quarantine. You will see the military on the streets soon.

SLURP ME!

Even more. Why has Chinese State West Turkmenistan, the south of Mongolia, Tibet, the Republic of China in Taiwán, Hong Kong and Macau?

The point is: the moment you declare, as a leader, that your country is in trouble, your economy / stand get hit badly: to make an example our PM today said on TV that they'll look to extend the so called 'golden power' or the power of an EU country to protect its strategic assets, if he told this on TV at this time, I understand it means the voltures are circling already, when this thing end I'm sure there'll be a global realignment, and EU's will go bust

outdated map the only available for free

Quiero decir que no me importa por que soi del interior

Boludo la cuarentena va a afectar a todo el pais, no salgas de tu rancho.

Es todo una paranoia, esto no es una conflagración general

Pretty sure we're either orange or red, entire northern half of the country can't go out other than to buy food and other necessities, plus localized quarantines in the rest of the country.

Team sparta reporting in.

Portugal declared state of emergency. That's the maximum allowed under the Portuguese Constitution, to prevent usurpation of power for undemocratic purposes, but it can be renewed with Parliament's approval.

Be mindful of the fact that Portugal present Constitution is the child of a process that followed a military revolution that put an end to decads of Salazar's fascist dictatorship. The two weeks limit on state of emergency is a very sane part of the checks & balances.

Fellow Team Sparta member here rooting for you guys. Let's show that we can beat the virus without resorting to Chinese-style authoritarianism.

oi you put NZ in the wrong place and shrunk it

t.
so, are you confirmed sparta or fence yet?

I had to make compromises, user, is the team right tho?

We've just declared emergency state.

We're defining measures such as:
>short walks are allowed
>allowed to visit supermarket/pharmacies/gas pumps
>allowed to physically exercise but alone
>every cinema/theatre is closed
>public places limited to 50% capacity
>Old people allowed to go out only during X hours a day

We're actually pretty based out here. Everyone's imposing self quarantine and social distancing without need of the state to enforce it on us with the mlitary.

It will last two weeks. That's the maximum allowed under the Portuguese Constitution***

785 confirmed Coronavirus cases.

welcome in team red João

>Constitution
You think constitution matters in a crisis? This is where governments seize more power.

>not even on the map
Am I already dead ?

when, not "if", WHEN, the US goes full lockdown, AKA martial law, it's gonna be run by the feds. state governments dont have the resources to do anything of that magnitude. and there's no point in shutting down just a few states.

thanks user

Didn't your government recently decide they were going with the herd immunity meme? That pretty much confirms your country is sparta.

My country's status is pretty accurate. We are going on lockdown but not doing it on a very serious level yet. International flights are banned from specific countries with the virus. Local events are all cancelled including schools.

australia and new zealand have now closed their borders.

>ok, but how would spartans keep alive the food supply?
Spartans never farmed, they were warriors. They conquered other areas and made the conquered feed them.

we arent team sparta since only grocery stores are open

shits about to get really bad here, because too many people still haven't got their heads wrapped around the fact that things will not just go back to normal in a month or two.
I see people all the time at work standing TOO FUCKING CLOSE and these idiots won't understand how serious this until their family and friends start dying. when the realization finally hits shit will go absolutely out of control and the military will have to step in.

Based potator

Not really. That's what's inevitably going to happen (hopefully), but we're still in partial lockdown and everyone is strongly advised to stay inside and distance themselves from others. The goal is to control the spread as much as possible to keep the hospitals from being overloaded until we achieve that herd immunity. But they didn't go so far as to force everybody to stay inside.

Bulgaria is definitely orange. People eat out. Some don't wear masks and they spray the chemicals on the street in the evenings

Slovenia should be red. It's a complete lockdown as of today, but it's been a week since all non-essential stores were shut down.

Ojalá tener rancho ahora

Negros Occ local quartine/curfew border checkpoints

We've been on lockdown for a few days now.

UK is pretty much team fence atm, schools close tomorrow.

I wish someone would take this opportunity to actually make us fascist. Salazar wasn't fascist, just some conservative civ-nat cuckold

good to know i'm not on the same team as israel

Finland still in team orange, nothing has changed since yesterday. But I think the normies are slowly recovering from the first shock, traffic on the nearest road has risen +25 from the earlier days. Yes, I count traffic to understand what the normies are thinking about the current situation. From Monday to Wednesday average was ~60 cars per minute during the rush hour, today it has been ~75.

>The goal is to control the spread as much as possible to keep the hospitals from being overloaded until we achieve that herd immunity
I'd say your proper sparta, then: as I said one of the criteria is the official stance and face the economical consequences, you're in the same team as UK until there's at least a CLEAR stance

see above: it's understandable your govs don't want to restrict individual freedoms, since you're of liberal tradition, but that's also playing smart and taking advantage on other countries, and if this thing turns ugly there will be prices to pay once things settles (there are already)

>People eat out
you should be sparta as well, then, what's the official stance on coronavirus?

Are pubs still open? what did bojo say?

Yeah because Faschism would not bring back other Problems. Like Hate , Fear and Dissconnetion ?

As opposed to complete apathy to the current ones?
shut the fuck up you pussy

I'm on my own team, you Pentagon Mossad bitch. All sides are full of shit.

I choose the Gray Zone.

>I choose the Gay Zone.
ftfy

you too man

>Spartans never farmed, they were warriors. They conquered other areas and made the conquered feed them.
ok, modern day spartans then, they'd prolly lockdown themselves and have wagies and tradesmen keep the thing going, no?

Brazil is fence, lockdown policies are being enacted on a state-level

For example, I can't move by bus to different cities in my state, but I can't move to another state altogether, because that's outside the governor's jurisdiction.

Hey isn't this where that shitty win10 lock screen photo was taken?

*but I can move to another state altogether
