What does your local grocery store look like? Mine had been totally cleaned our by boomers buying dried pasta and toilet paper. Good thing you prepped 6months worth of food, right user? You aren't seriously going to rely on the government as logistics chains break down are You?
Supermarket shelves
I grow my own vegetables
Theyre ransacked for the most part
San Diego California
All pasta and pasta related items had long since been bought
I think im gonna look at the local supermarket tomorrow morning and see if its stripped clean. I dont need anything at this point but its worth witnessing the extent of...our adjustments
Stocked up on food and got my mask when the first case hit american shores. The same coworkers who were calling me an idiot are the same ones asking me if I have and spare TP.
i really don't get the pasta thing. Rice is where it's at. And barring that, a giant 10lb sack of flour to make your own noodles and bread
I haven't been to the store since the panic started, but I imagine it looks the same. I also live near the capital of my state (NY) however, so it's basically the root of all supply chains. I imagine people further out are having problems
I don't have much prepped but my family owns 20 acres of land next to a lake, so I'll just fish have a garden and boil and drink lake water
Half the shop is cleaned out. When they closed the border, shit hit the fan. The city is dead. I just drove home from work and the traffic was comparable to 2-3am, minus the supermarket traffic jams. It's fucking mental
First of all. Fuck pork. Second of all. I prepped and have all my essentials but no one is buying perishables. Ive been in contact with local shops and I will be buying discounted meat and veggies that didnt sell so I dont waste my canned goods and I expect everyone else here to take advantage of that. My friend prepped in Jan and now is out of food. I will let her blow me for a slim jim allowance because I am smart and she is a dumb prepper retard that just bought lots of food and didn't save any of it.
bread, meat, rice, pasta, and crackers were pretty much entirely gone, but everything else was almost untouched.
Normal. Only cheap TP is out. I bouhgt it all in January.
I would be INSANE to prep only for six months, lol.. I have TP for at least a decade, mineral water and food for two years, of which the first year very luxuriously. People who prepped for less than a full year are clinically insane or poorfags. Then again - Hydroxychloroquine + Zinc + Azithromycin is likely a full, rapid cure for all so no zombie apocalypse after all, most likely..
Rice, pasta, lentils etc. all have incomplete amino acid profiles so you either need pumpkin seeds (a total hassle) to complement them or meat, protein powder etc. You can't stay healthy on incomplete protein.
Liquid nicotine supply for 150 years.
But almost out of PG and VG.
Some stores are rationing first aid but I don't know why they aren't rationing bogroll or paper towels
Based, that was my plan too
Fucked
Everything here is fully stocked and life is good. Went to Costco today to buy yoghurt and the shelves were flowing with rice toilet paper and sushi.
People are retarded. Tuesday the entire poultry section of my grocery store was emptied out. Stuff that perishes in a week.
Pasta, rice, toilet paper and hand soap was out when I was there Monday after lunch. Otherwise it was like normal, frozen meals were also low.
I was only there to buy milk, and dairy was fully stocked even all the stuff that lasts for months like cheese.
Mondays are always the worst day for shopping though wrt what's in stock.
I'm going to keep restocking on perishables every week or so and keep the stuff that lasts for if I have to go into quarantine.
If you freeze meat it lasts months.
imagine not knowing what a freezer is
Just got home from my local meijer (ohiofag), some meat was available, mostly pork tenderloins that I guess they just got a shipment of. Dairy was also there again along with some canned food/pasta. This will all be gone in a couple hours though as the hordes arrive.
Only vegan mince left kek
Radelaide today
Everythin is normal except for disposable gloves and hamburgers which are gone. There's less tp than normal but there's still plenty. Although I live in a low risk zone, people haven't gone full panic yet. Since most are middle-upper class they all respected the measures stablished to avoid contagions.
Even during a pandemic, beef is still too expensive to buy in Canada.
Chicken breast is completely wiped out though.
>and eat grass
>What does your local grocery store look like?
Completely normal on the shelves. But.
>motion sensor handsanitizer dipsensor at the entrance
>disposable gloves everywhere in the shop
>signs limiting certain items
>signs urging you to use contactless payment
>2 meters keep your distance markers at the line
>motion sensor handsanitizer dipsensor at the exit
>Rice is where it's at
KEK
Our health department just recalled a brand of rice sold in Lidl. Tested way too high in some-or-other toxin.
>I don't have much prepped but my family owns 20 acres of land next to a lake, so I'll just fish have a garden and boil and drink lake water
I live in an apartment but I have a balcony, and a lot of birds and squirrels in my neighbourhood.
Just now I could hear cats and/or raccoons fighting outside.
Me auntie and me grandad both said it’s bad
I just go to the local paki shop
Or buy some fucking centrum and deal with it.
>that's basically how MREs work.
The boomer delision needs to stop. When i went out it was fucking millenials and gen x buying all the food, very few boomers. Boomers either dont think its happening and therefore arent prepping or are too scared to leave their house and arent prepping. I know you hate boomers, jews, gays, blacks, etc etc but at least dont lie younfucking idiot
This. People are retarded. Rice, dried beans, meat to freeze, potatoes and onions are what these turds should be buying.
this desu my boomer mother rolls her eyes at the idea of prepping for quarantine.
>and I will be buying discounted meat and veggies that didnt sell so I dont waste my canned goods and I expect everyone else here to take advantage of that.
That's my plan for when the crowd dies down, not going out this week so I'm only eating twice a day, feel so hungry and crazy right now. I will keep an eye on news, especially re surface contamination, and eat more before I go out so I will be alert.
My freezer is full but I want to meal plan so I don't have to touch any of my canned goods till May.
Thinking about keeping new carrots I buy on my balcony in a box and not touch them for a week, but it's starting to rain sometimes and I wonder about the temperature difference. Or I buy green onions and plant them all and not touch the pot for a week.
For stuff like frozen perogies, I could just open the cardboard box and let the plastic bag slip out without touching the outside, but all fresh produce bags have holes in it, even the frozen veggie bags have hoes in it so I can't wash it.
I could probably wash cryovac meat though.
My butcher has a 3 week waiting list for ground beef right now. Not because he can't get beef, he just can't process it and complete transactions quick enough. You need an appointment to even go in his shop now.
>this desu my boomer mother rolls her eyes at the idea of prepping for quarantine.
Ask her what she would do if she sprain or break a limb and can't carry grocery bags, and you'll be busy. Or if both of you was in the same car wreck...
They look fine. No toilet paper (wtf is it with that hysteria?) and certain brands are missing, but I have toilet paper and there's always another brand to buy from even if my preferred brand is not available.
Feels good not to live in an shithole of Anglo descent, full of crazy, selfish and entitled people
>You need an appointment to even go in his shop now
That's pretty good, would be nice if they did that here. Effective way to make sure the shop never gets crowded.
Also
>not having a meat grinder
I make tasty burgers with 80/20 meat/pork meat and a little liver all ground together.
>That's pretty good, would be nice if they did that here. Effective way to make sure the shop never gets crowded.
People should call in and pick up groceries like pharmacy instead of letting everyone touching everything.
Idaho here
Got ribeyes
Flap meat
Ground beef and pork, shirty bacon
Corned beef
Salad shit
All the veggies
Hot links
Ice cream half gone
No eggs
No papers
Some bags
A bunch of other shit
almost no pepper
No salt
n bulk
Dude it's weird
Supply chain is shitting
I have several supermarkets around me, all are still healthily stocked *except* for alcohol and large bleach (1gal).
Food has a fuckton of options/cans/etc.
Helps living in a 3rd world country where people don't really have money to panic-buy. I got my 4-6 month's worth of canned goods and rice.
>Rice is where it's at. And barring that, a giant 10lb sack of flour to make your own noodles and bread
That shit went with the TP 2-3 weeks ago.
Mine , everything is there , just missing toilet papers ... not even joking
We got seeds for everything we can container and for what we can plant around our water and sprinkler lines
He's a goyslave that needs to shop every few days to get "good" food and only gets enough to last until his next visit. Probably has an apartment where he sleeps on the couch and the only other room is a kitchen that's barely fitted to make Mac'nCheese.
These dumb boomer cunts have been leeching off the youth for many generations. I don't know what makes them think I won't be turning up to wealthy suburbs with a fucking molotov if shit goes down.
London
Wiped out, went down at opening this morning, no bread, pasta, rice, tins, cheese, meat, freezer goods, eggs, anything made of tissue or paper. Only things in stock were some fresh veg, milk, junk food snacks and laundry detergent. And beer/ wine.
Shit hasn't even started getting bad yet, fuck knows what is going to be like in a months time.
same up north round leeds, looks like a north korea supermarket,
By the time I heard of this panic-shopping it was too late, been to my local shartmart 3 days in a row and the shelves are empty. Now I'm out of food and toilet paper and I can't get any because dumbfucks are scared of the sniffles because democrats call it "Trump's Chernobyl". Stores are still getting shipments in but you literally have to spend hours standing there in the store waiting for employees to stock shelves and there's no telling when trucks arrive. Day before yesterday i saw some scrawny bitch with 12 cases of 60 count eggs... I shouldve pushed her cart over and stomped her fucking eggs. Its fucking shitheads like that ruining it for people that actually needs food. Walmart's website says they are changing their hours to allow for stocking and limiting the amount of shit people can buy, so are every other store out there.
>not having a grinder
Legit. You can get unprocessed cuts and large joints a few days after ordering. Anything trimmed, ground, cut into steaks etc is weeks out. People will literally wait weeks because they dumb.
Also, all stores are implementing designated days/hours for the elderly/disabled. Its really not boomsters buying up everything, its the twenty-thirty year old dumbfucks that are doing it, buying two cartloads of bottled water and shit... Where i live aleast. Old people arent terrified of stupid shit like mild viruses unless theyre in their 90's, you gotta remember that they lived through worse and this is mickey mouse shit. Every time I've been to the store I've seen old people walking down isles looking shellshocked like they didn't know what to do.
*walking down isles trying to do normal shopping
About the same stuff bought. Instant noodles/canned food/pasta/eggs/vegetables/toilet paper/rice were cleared off the shelves after the alert was raised to orange a month back. Limits implemented and it was back to normal a few days later.
The malaysia lockdown and recent increase in cases caused a second round of panic buying but it's not as bad as last time because most people probably got all that panic out of their system already.
You can take a picture during the evening of the empty shelves and talk about NO MORE SUPPLIES like some western guy I saw yesterday but it'll all be stocked in the morining. Bless the logistics and restockers.
Wouldn't limiting what people can buy COMMUNISM?!
Or was it SOCIALISM!
Wait no it's probably HITLER!
Hope they at least use all the things bought. Just imagine someone post a picture with #prerpforapocalypse then leave the stuff there until it expires, throw them out and say something like how at least they were prepared.
I am totally stocked in regards to canned. The wife and I had chicken enchiladas the other night to try it out, and she made chicken salad a week or so ago. But yesterday I called out of work and picked up 3 pounds of ground Chuck from the butcher and 3 pounds of boneless chicken breasts(3lbs limit). Then I hit Sam's and picked up another 9lbs of ground beef, a pack of Ribeyes(only 3 pack left) and some fresh brussel sprouts, green beans, sack of onions, garlic, lots of candy, more dish soap, dishwasher detergent, cheap bucket of Wind Fresh laundry soap as a backup to our Gain stockpile, Bounce dryer sheets, frozen Sirloin burger patties, two flats of brown eggs, two 5lbs blocks of sharp cheddar, about 20lbs of Mozzarella, another 4lbs bag of rice to add to the pile because fuckit, confectioners sugar, brown sugar, 3 precooked ham shoulders, four 1lbs canned hams(limit 4 on canned goods at Aldi) 4 more cans of chicken because fuckit, more shredded cheese, 1 case of bottled water just to have around, a case of Nacho Cheese, large bottles of dried Tyme, Rosemary, Cilantro, Basil, Oregano, Chives, cat litter, 24 pack of Stella bottles...
All told I spent another $700. Mostly on fresh food to cook or freeze before we dip into the canned stocks. Sam's still had a few Ribeye roasts, I considered getting one but my freezer space is tight. Too tight for 13lbs of steaks.
You fucking fag. Imagine now having a massive chest (deep) freeze in your house. Fucking German shit you should feel ashamed.
I wonder if they'll ever mark down the lamb chops since even the panic stricken NPC's can't cop the price.
Oh, and a large pork loin.
we had plenty of flour left. no one touched it because no one knows how to use it...
It's fine. Having to be Restocked constantly because people are panic buying like retards. Supermarket is desperate to hire more staff to keep up with restocking. The only products we cannot stock instantly is shit like hand sanitizer and disinfectant.
Meh, it'll be stocked against tomorrow. Also at some point people will have all they need and stop going to the shops. Prepare for a massive drop in prices.
Items that are sold out for a few days already:
- Toilet Paper
- Soap
- Rice
- Pasta
- Sauces
- Bread
- Eggs
- Milk
- Cereals
- Disinfectant
- Shower Gel
- Canned Food
- Deep Frozen food
I'm worried guys...and hungry...
No, its not communism because there is no goods shortage. Shipments are still going out to stores like they have been normally before this virus panic, but people keep buying shit way too much shit like I said, 12 cases of 60 count eggs, or 2 carts full of toilet paper at a time keeping people who actually need it from getting it.
Lots of people in nz are trying to buy out the flour. Toilet paper stocks faster than flour atm.
Everything was in stock but the bread was running low
People hoarding supplies like that should be shot.
>chinkoids
>people
Basically everything but soda is all gone.
Yeah, fuck those people. Those fucks deserve to be tortured.
This is a 2 year supply of toilet paper...holy shit...people are retarded and i have to shit in the shower now because there's no toilet paper anymore....
>>not having a meat grinder
I have at least a half dozen antique tabletop hand crank meat grinders. And a couple Sunbeam Stand Mixer grinder attachments for my antique but fully functional mixers from the 1930s-1960s. I collect mid century appliances and gadgets because they are based as fuck. I even have the first prototype Sunbeam M4A, and a Sunbeam Model 1 with the Jadeite bowls. I also have a few old KitchenAid Mixers from the 50s/60s that work great.
There was some fuck on amazon who got banned from selling on there because he bought up like 1,800 hand sanitizers in stores and thought he'd sell them online for higher prices on amazon so now he's stuck with all that shit
why is it chinks every time?
How many people do you think touch or coof on the food at a grocery store? First its the untested illegals that picked or slaughtered the food, then loaded it onto trucks where it goes to a big warehouse. Then it gets loaded onto trucks taken to a grocery store, gets unloaded by minimum wagies then carted around and stacked by more minimum wagies so that more untested people can fondle the food looking for the best apple in the bunch. Even stuff wrapped up in plastic is still processed by lots of people. You cn't dump bleach or alcohol on your food before you eat it. If anyone of the dozens of people handling the food is covid positive, they could infect a whole batch of food wantonly.
We may be fucked here.
Calm down, queerbait. Unless youre 90 years old, or an infant then you arent gonna die if you get the slope flu
